Photos from my busy four years at Crane! Check out many (but certainly not all) of the things I have been up to ✨

I am happy to have spent the last four years of my life at @sunypotsdam and @thecraneschool, and I will never forget the extraordinary people I’ve met and amazing experiences I’ve had from Potsdam as I step into the next part of my education and life 🍎

Thank you @ncpr for having me on to talk about why growing up in a bilingual household of illustrators and having a childhood rooted in classical, jazz, Arabic and electronic music led me to be the multidisciplinary visual artist and musician that I am. @mcteich I could talk with you for hours! @vaverchick @cpspotsdam @sunypotsdam @lokoartfestival @thecraneschool @sunypdamartdepartment THANK YOU for seeing all of these seemingly disparate things that I do as integrated. It’s the first time I have ever felt truly seen for who I am and what I can do. My heart is full. More reflections on the deeply meaningful platform these people have given me coming soon ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #multi #visualartist #musician #sunypotsdam #makeitcrane

Join us tomorrow night (Saturday, April 18) for an evening of innovative music featuring composer, conductor, vocalist, interdisciplinary artist and Crane alumna Raquel Acevedo Klein ’16.

The performance takes place in the Proscenium Theater at SUNY Potsdam’s Performing Arts Center. Tickets start at $5 exclusive of fees, and are available online at the @cpspotsdam website, or at the box office one hour before the show.

During her residency this week, Klein has worked closely with students and the campus community—leading a composition workshop, hosting a Q&A, and rehearsing with the Crane string quartet in preparation for the performance.

Before the concert, stop by the Gibson Gallery in Brainerd Hall from 4–6 p.m. to experience her exhibition, "Pluralidad: A Concerto for Contours & Colors."
