The Beginning Of Some Thing Amazing

BeautyInTech created a fun and innovative challenge for CPUT university engineering students inviting them to re-envision the way we look and understand the handheld liquid dispenser and asked them to share and demonstrate their findings and ideas.

This collaboration between the university, BeautyInTech and European Patent Office, in partnership with Sardegna Ricerche was a way to engage youth and teach them outside university skill development within the engineering and innovation space through the Technology Transfer & Industry Linkages office.

This curated 4 session program with 15 teams and 117 students was designed by CPUT, led by Sandra Ennas (head of Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property at Sardegna Ricerche) to teach EPO’s Espacenet database, IP principles, and CPUT's own IP policy.

Our founder Beauty Ndlovu noted that this challenge was never intended to be easy; students were required to take something that already exists with their newly developed skills to make something new or completely different while pushing the movement of innovative thinking.

We had good results from the students: First place was rewarded to Pulane Radingwana and Lindobuhle Tibane. Second place and third place were also rewarded

All the students were guided through the program by Oza Holdings Executive Director Bonani Ndlovu and technology innovation mentor A.N.M. Rafiqul Islam while judgment was given by A/Prof Oscar Philander and Dr Yohan Mfoumboulou of CPUT's Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering department.

The experience was truly remarkable, and all the students themselves did absolutely well, and we extend our thank to CPUT University, as well Professor Veruscha Vester, Jayde Barends, Dr Oscar Philander, Dr Yohan Mfoumboulou the mentors, professors and everyone who helped make this collaboration and experience happen..🙏🎉

Men's health is a bit narrow...

I would like to say Mental Health for we all go through it

It's not about making June which is about Men's Mental Health any less important then it is

It's about taking note that mental health is a issue!

Being accountable to accept that within yourself

It's also something that we should let ubuntu and community as people to come together and stand against this health issue

We should prioritize helping each other talking to each and actually loving thy neighbor as thyself

💝 CHECK ON YOUR BROTHER💝
💞 CHECK ON YOUR HUSBAND💞
💘 CHECK ON YOUR GUY FRIENDS💘
💖 CHECK ON YOUR BOYFRIEND 💖

Let's prioritize checking on each other in general 😊

😂 CHECK ON US GUY 😂

Graduation day 🎓✨

A proud family moment celebrating Gazi and everything she has achieved. The joy, the smiles, and the love in the air said it all.

📖 “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Today we celebrate Gazi, together as family 🤍 Congratulations to Sbahle and Lelo on their graduation 👩‍🎓 day too

CPUT students making waves at the ILTM event 🔥🔥🥰! We seized the chance to network with business owners, sharing our academic pursuits and gaining insightful advice from them ❤️🙏🏾. A key takeaway for me as a tourism student is to approach potential employers with confidence, in-depth knowledge, and thorough research 🔥🔥🙏🏾

Recently, Camps Bay High School proudly hosted the CCEA Career Expo, welcoming 32 institutions to campus for an inspiring and informative day.

Our Grade 9 learners had a valuable opportunity to start thinking about their future subject choices, gaining insight into the pathways required for different careers. For our Grade 11 and 12 learners, the expo provided important guidance in mapping out life beyond school – from tertiary studies to career possibilities.

A big thank you to all the institutions who participated and shared their expertise with our learners:
Academy of Digital Arts, Aros, Belgium Campus, CAD4ALL, Camp Counselors USA, Cape Town Creative Academy, CPUT, CTU Training Solutions, FEDISA, Future Flyers, Global Education, House-o-Orange Au Pairs, IIE’s Varsity College, IMM Graduate School, Inscape Education Group, iStudent Academy, NewBridge Graduate Institute, OVC, Red & Yellow Creative School of Business, Regent Business School, Rhodes University, Richfield | AAA, SAICA, STADIO Higher Education, Stellenbosch Academy of Design and Photography, Stellenbosch University, The Aleit Academy, The Design Academy of Fashion, University of the Free State, TPTT and UXI Sport HFPA.

Thank you to the CCEA for creating this platform and to everyone involved in making the day such a success.
