Danny Bailey is a multidisciplinary artist, creative director, performer, and cultural curator whose work spans film, performance, visual arts, and writing, drawing on his Caribbean heritage to reimagine futures rooted in thriving rather than survival. He is the founder of THEPALACEOFTHEDOGS, a platform that supports Black and Brown artists to create and experiment beyond capitalist constraints.

London. It’s been real. But corporate greed, a decade of burnout and the cost of living was giving me the ick tbh. I’m headed for friends and nature within walking distance and rent that’s not £1000+ per month for leaking, mouldy, environmental health hazard flats. My kitties deserve better. My therapist would argue that I do too.

On the plus side, I had the MOST amazing millennial-coded leaving drinks courtesy of @kayascods who was 100% a party planner/interior designer in another life. The second slide is my absolute favourite video ever taken of all time ever.

I’ve been pretty overwhelmed with moving my HOARD of OF costumes and two manic rescue kitties out of London recently but am so grateful I got to have such a spectacular moving party with so many amazing people (so many that I can’t even tag everyone because Instagram says I am only allowed 20 friends and that’s final).

NOW WHO CAN GUESS WHAT THE THEME OF THE COSTUMES WERE?? And what did I go dressed as??? 😏 ⛪️
