Midnight Witch is HERE 🔮 ✨

When I first started writing this album I felt lost. I didn’t know who I was or where I was going. Instead of running from that feeling I decided to sit with it, to see what I could learn and what I could surround with a bit more love.

I ended up with so much more than a just an album. I found new friends, incredibly talented collaborators, and new spaces within myself. I connected on a deeper level with old friends and got to see them work their magic with music and film. And man, we had so much fun!

This album has changed me in so many ways. I’m immensely proud and so excited it’s finally here!

Thank you to the entire team! 🙏

Carol-Lynne appreciation post 🎤❤️

CQ I shared these songs with you before anyone else. You’re such a safe space for me. The vibe is vocal nerdiness meets therapy and I’m always here for it!

You helped me shape the vocal choices across the album and find new vocal tones, especially leaning into softness - which was not my speciality before. I love having the range to express myself in so many ways.

It was especially fun to have you vocal produce Personally which ended up with over 100 vocal tracks! You push me to be better and you remind me I am already whole. I am so grateful for you.

All the love ❤️

What a whirlwind time in Victoria for @breakoutwest!

@ilabarkermusic & @amberneufeld presented our 3rd year of Feedforward - we had a record 19 submissions from amazing producers across Western Canada, and we got to learn from, listen and encourage @summerwitch, @bigfuzzmusic, @jintingzhao, @effemera.mp3, and @raven.nowhere - thank you so much for everyone's courage in sharing their work! Can't wait to see y'all release the fruits of your creative labour!

Other highlights included running around downtown trying to catch all the incredible showcases, and friendships made over these 4 days! And a very special roundtable and Producer Peer Exchange presented by @thebloomproject.ca - supporting and empowering the next generation of female/gender-diverse producers 💖

See ya in Edmonton next year! ✌️

Come with me to record vocals for Time For You To Go at @wildhorsemusicco with @colintrask 👏👏

We had so much fun doing this. Can’t thank Colin enough for being so great to work with and allowing me a space to just be me while exploring this new adventure in my career. I can’t wait for you guys to hear it!

Days 3 & 4 of @breakoutwest have been such a gift - so many rich panels, meet‑ups, and conversations that left us energized. The women & non‑binary workshop with @thebloomproject.ca was a real highlight.

Caught so many incredible performances, and a few favourites are featured here ✨ Huge thanks to @music_bc for helping get us here, and @creativeclerical for attending with me. 💿🎵

Cue primal scream 👀
This is what vocal training looks like 💪 what a moment, to be able to just lunge myself into that note with ease - no force - yet you can hear some real grit in those vocals. You really taught me how to ROAR 🙌🏽 @cqvoice

Singing like this is such a EPIC RELEASE ♥️

Things that have made me a better singer:

1. Getting back into running. Doing more cardio has really helped me with breath control and keeping my voice steady even if I’ve got a little bit of nerves.

2. Quitting drinking. I’m over 550 days sober now and it’s made a huge difference on my vocal health. Everything feels so hydrated and I’m not getting drunk after shows and blowing my voice talking too loud in a noisy bar.

3. Speaking of hydrated - my emotional support @owala water bottle. I carry it with me everywhere I go and the design and function makes it easy to get enough water.

4. My Sonair nebulizer. Non negotiable on show days. Preps my vocal cords for a night of singing, and also provides ten minutes of deep breathing pre show to ground me.

5. My amazing vocal couch @cqvoice - her ROAR program is amazing and the daily videos keep me motivated and constantly strengthening and improving.

6. Feeling comfortable in my body. I started dancing at @formationstudio_ and it made me so much more comfortable on stage and in my own skin which in turn made me so much more comfortable singing.

7. Giving less of a fuck! I’m less tied up in comparing myself to others and judging myself and that freedom and release of perfection has made my voice stronger and more confident.

What are things that have helped your singing? #singing #singer #musician #sober #band

good music, good people, good vibes...can't ask for more <3

massive thank you to @music_bc , @arcprogram_bc and all of the remarkable people who made this past week so special. I feel so blessed and honoured to have been amongst such fiercely talented and kind people. ARC 2026 is a very special group of people.

I could go on and on and on about it but I'd sound like a broken record.

to everyone at arc, thank you for all the laughs, music and unforgettable memories.

much love to you all ❤️

It’s crazy to think that no matter what age we are, we can continue to discover new things about ourselves and grow if we allow ourselves the patience, encouragement, and space to do so. That’s one of the many things I took away from my experience as a participant in this year’s @arcprogram_bc

This past week, I threw myself into a week long co-writing retreat, stepping outside the comfort of my home and into a band camp setting where I was paired with next-level musicians (@choppingspreeband 💗), and got to work with one heck of a producer (@poolhallnielsen 🔥), to co-write and record a song together! - all while simultaneously being engulfed by music-advocating organizations like @music_bc and @creativebcs who beautifully whipped this whole darn thing up + being around 14 other AMAZING BC-based artists / bands + getting access to some of the most amazing mentors, coaches, industry professionals in the bizz like what!!?

IT. WAS. AWESOME 😎

I learned, I listened, I cried, I created, I meditated, I connected, I encouraged.

I’m grateful for such a fun unique experience with this group of folks and I look forward to keeping in touch and getting to know you all more and i’m SUPER excited for all our showcases in Vancouver this October weeeeeee!
