Some gyms teach moves. We forge martial artists. Last night wasn't luck. It was thousands of hours, thousands of rounds, and trust in the process. Senpai Avi stepped into the finals of an underground boxing tournament with a 70,000 dollar truck on the line. Two rounds, two minutes each then a endurance round with no clock. He stayed composed, stuck to the game plan, and brought it home. But the story doesn't stop there. Isa came just to support his teammate Avi, then a fighter drops out and with five minutes notice, cold, no warm up, he said, "I'll fight". That's what martial artists do. He stepped in, stayed calm, followed the plan and finished with a knockout. That's fight IQ, discipline, and trust in action. And as a coach, watching your athletes believe in the game plan we've lived day in and day out, and then execute it under pressure. That's the real win. This is who we are. This is why we train. Congratulations Senpai Avi and Isa. true martial artists in every sense. What made the wins even more special was to have their hands raised by BKFC Champion Lorenzo Hunt! Massive shoutout to both Rumble in the Bronx & Nizo for putting this together. Their goal was simple but genuine 1) Stop the senseless murders of children in the streets but putting guns down and Gloves up ! 2) To give the winner a beautiful truck and the opportunity to have a career guided by the successful Nizo. These two are here to help lift the community and see everyone around them win in life. Thank you both for what you do! @qfight_club Some people climb mountains. Some people run marathons. Some people do Hyrox. Me and my people… we fight. There’s something about stepping through those ropes that I can’t fully explain. The walkout. The nerves. The adrenaline. The uncertainty. Then the bell rings, and for a few rounds, nothing else in the world exists. It’s one of the few places where you find out exactly who you are. If you know, you know. This event meant even more to me because I accomplished something I’ve dreamed about for a long time. I built a fight card, promoted it, and then stepped into the main event myself. As the founder of Queens Fight Club, I know what it takes to put an event together. The planning. The matchmaking. The promotion. The pressure. Making sure everyone else has an unforgettable experience. Then, after all of that… lacing up the gloves and putting myself on the line. Not many people get to say they’ve done both. I’m proud to say I did. Not because it’s the finish line, but because it’s proof that the vision is becoming reality. To everyone who fought, coached, judged, volunteered, sponsored, and came out to support—thank you. Every one of you played a part in making this night special. Almost forgot to post the walkout. What a night. Only a few people know what that feeling is like. Walking out to the crowd, hearing the music, feeling the energy, knowing it’s time. It’s some modern-day gladiator shit. I’ve done a lot of things in my life, but that walk to the ring hits different. For a few minutes, it feels like you’re living in your own movie. The sacrifices. I love this sport for everything it takes and everything it gives back. Through injuries, setbacks, surgeries, and some of the toughest moments of my life, this sport was always there. Every challenge broke me down only to build me back stronger, more disciplined, and more resilient. The crazy part is that the more it demands from me, the more I fall in love with it. This sport has given me everything. Lifelong friendships. A sense of purpose. Food on my table. A community that feels like family. Opportunities I never could’ve imagined. Last night was a reminder of that. To headline my own event, surrounded by people who believe in the vision, and see something we built from nothing come to life… man, that’s a beautiful feeling. This sport changed my life, and I’ll always be grateful for it. 🥊
