Cracker Jack's BBQ

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Not every great food adventure happens on Thursday Date Night. 😄

This week I met up with a friend to celebrate her birthday, and we finally made our way back to Cracker Jack's Barbecue. @crackerjacksbarbecue

The last time I visited, Marcus and Anthony promised me that the next time I came back they'd have an amazing barbecue salad.

Well...

They absolutely delivered. 🥗

I ordered the chopped barbecue salad topped with pulled pork, black beans, corn, crispy fried onions, and their homemade barbecue ranch. (I skipped the tomatoes because... we're all friends here, and tomatoes and I are simply not compatible. 😂)

It was fresh, hearty, packed with flavor, and definitely worth coming back for.

My friend loved her barbecue, the hospitality was just as memorable as the food, and Marcus stopped by several times to check on us and make us feel right at home.

But then...

The peach cobbler kept coming up in conversation.

Customers were talking about it.

Marcus was talking about it.

At that point, resistance was futile.

Served warm with a scoop of ice cream, that homemade peach cobbler absolutely lived up to every bit of the hype. It was the perfect ending to a fun birthday celebration, and to make the evening even sweeter, the team surprised my friend by singing Happy Birthday.

Now I'm left with one very important question...

Did I go back for the barbecue salad?

Yes.

Will I be thinking about the peach cobbler until my next visit?

Also yes. 😂

As always, don't forget to let them know Gina sent you... before you have to decide whether dessert comes before dinner. 🍑🍨

Cracker Jack's Rib Tips vs Every Other BBQ Spot

Every BBQ spot in California claims to have the best ribs. But there's a difference between good BBQ and Cracker Jack's BBQ. 🍖🔥 After a four-hour journey across the state, I put the legendary rib tips to the ultimate test against every overhyped joint from LA to SF. The verdict? Most spots are serving glorified oven-baked disappointment. Cracker Jack's? They're serving smoky, peppery, fall-apart perfection that redefines what barbecue should be. Let the competition weep. 💥

Okay AV this isn't a drill, we have an authentic BBQ joint in town and you have to stop by. It's called @crackerjacksbarbecue and its perfection. The food slaps. The atmosphere has a southern vibe. The owners and workers are as sweet as their peach pie. So make sure you go support!
