WHEN GOD IS SILENT

This wasn’t an event.
This was my story.

There was a season when God felt silent, everything around me felt uncertain, and I found myself confused, disconnected, discouraged, and wondering, “God, where are You?”

But little did I know... silence did not mean absence.

In the hardest moments, I chose to stay in worship. I kept seeking Him even when I couldn’t hear Him. And in that place, God began to reveal something that changed me.

Even in His silence, God is still working.
Sometimes God is silent because He is working in places you cannot yet see.

Sometimes the answer hasn’t come because the story isn’t finished.

And sometimes, worship is your declaration that says,
“I still trust You even when I don’t understand You.”

That was my story.
That became WHEN GOD IS SILENT.

Happy 40th Birthday to Me

Lord, Your boy is here to say Thank You.

Forty years of Your faithfulness, mercy, grace, and unfailing love. Looking back, I stand in awe of all You have done for me and my family. Through every season, the good, the difficult, the uncertain, and the victorious. You have remained faithful.

I don’t deserve all the love, favor, protection, and countless blessings You have poured upon my life, yet You still did it for me. For every open door, every lesson, every answered prayer, every unseen battle You fought on my behalf, and for the gift of family, ministry, and purpose, I am deeply grateful.

Today, I celebrate not just another year of life, but the goodness of God that has carried me this far.

Thank You, Lord, for 40 years of grace.
Thank You for my wife and children.
Thank You for Your hand upon my life and ministry.
Thank You for what You have done, what You are doing, and what You are yet to do.

My heart is full, and my testimony remains:

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” Psalm 126:3

Cheers to 40 years of God’s goodness, and to many more years of purpose, impact, and His abundant grace.

Today I turn 36, and I find myself sitting with a heart full of gratitude and a soul ready for more. 🌅

Life at 36 looks different from what I once imagined — richer in some ways, harder in others — but beautifully, unmistakably mine.

I've learned that growth is rarely loud. It happens in the quiet moments of choosing to keep going when everything says stop.

To my family, my friends, my people — thank you for loving me, challenging me, and reminding me of my worth on days I forgot it.

As I step into this new year of life, my prayer is simple: more faith, less fear. More purpose, less noise. More love, always.
