Back-to-school has been a whole lot of chaos lately 😂 but mixed in with all the crazy have been so many little glimmers of joy. ✨ The kind of moments that make the long days feel a little lighter and remind me there’s still so much good tucked into the busy. 🤍 This cute yellow teach shirt launches from @teachcreatemotivate TODAY!! 💛 Code LINDSEY saves you! Also, a BIG thank you to @mixcu.headphones and @craftingbymayra for helping me make my team feel special this week! 🥹🫶🏻 The chaos isn’t going anywhere 😂 but neither are the little moments worth noticing. REAL TALK!!! How do we get schools to invest in TEACHERS 👩‍🏫 rather than new, EXPENSIVE curriculums that NO ONE asked for?! 😅 As teachers, we WANT to do the best we can for our students. BUT, we need resources, proper trainings & adequate supports in order to do so! 🫶 WHO CAN RELATE?! Don’t get me wrong….I LOVE teaching & working with students and always will. It is my purpose without a doubt 🥹🫶 HOWEVER, getting to share & speak with other teachers who are also in the trenches doing the hard work, loving kids, and doing whatever they can to best support students is what LIGHTS ME UP ✨💡 TEACHERS ARE FREAKING MAGIC! And while I always love sharing creative and new ideas that work for me & my classroom…I equally love learning and connecting with other teachers 👩‍🏫🫶 As @hayward_jean said, “conference is community” & teachers NEED community. We can do MORE together ❤️ So, this past week I TALKED ALL THINGS 🎤 📈 data collection ✏️ turning data into instructional practices 🌈differentiation that works (AND fades) 🧠behaviors WHAT AN ABSOLUTE GIFT this past week was!! 🫶 Thank you @heyhopeking & @heywadeking for creating such an amazing @getyourteachon conference. And thank you to THE AMAZING ⭐️MAGIC SQUAD ⭐️ who do so much to pour into educators!! I feel so blessed to have a profession I love & the opportunity to speak and connect with so many amazing educators 🌈👩‍🏫✨🖍️💗 I’m curious…. Do you go to teacher conferences often?! If so, do you pay to attend or does your school?! ⬇️ Because I know people will ask…my cutie friendship bracelet lanyard is from @craftingbymayra 🌈 #teachers #specialeducationteacher #specialeducationclassroom #specialeducation

I was fully at peace missing out on the green Bearista cup that required a camp out 😌 So unbothered, I even bought my niece and daughter the Five Below bear cup dupes and kept it moving 💅 BUT then Mayra from @craftingbymayra shared her Bearista holder… and I folded 😆 Didn’t even own the green cup. ✨ Enter Mayra again ✨ Putting me onto a small shop @theangelshoppe selling a PINK Bearista cup and that was all she wrote 😂💕 Now that they’re both here… please prepare to be sick of me and my cup 🤭✨
