Meet our fabulous art instructor, Dr. Craig Jacobowitz!

“My name is Dr. Craig Jacobowitz and I have been teaching visual art going on twenty years now. I have taught at a total of four schools, however, San Antonio is and always will be my home. I was not an education major, coming from a different career, so I was very fortunate to learn from the very best, Deborah Roberts. She was the greatest mentor I’ve had, though I still consider many of my peers and friends to be mentors still, as I am always learning, growing, and improving. I earned my doctorate in 2021, an Ed.D in Program Development with a focus on Educational Innovation from USF. When not working with younger kids, I work with beginning teachers as a mentor and serve as an assessor for the PDCP certification program.”

"With Friends like this, Who needs Enimies?" ..so still doing the Spawn challenge..last week are the Villians..so let's go all the way back..to the hands of the engineer..someone who Al Simmons consider a brother, a comrade, and most of all, a friend..who in turn blew his brains out without a second thought and sent him to hell..which began the travels of Spawn..Chapel. And to show how cold of a friend he was, once he found out his friend came back as Spawn..he was hellbent on getting the same powers..wow! But anyways this one I pushed to very end so didn't have time to get it colored..didn't want @craig.jacobowitz cursing my name or my children by saying you only have 3 hrs to color it..yeah Dr wouldn't be too happy..#spawn #spawnchallenge #spawnuary #imagecomics #comicbooks #drawing #comicart #comicartist #allenadamsartwork
