Although I didn’t attend an #HBCU, I’ll ALWAYS show love and support for them! 🏫 There’s something special about the culture, the pride, and the traditions. 👊

Thank you, @aamu1875 for welcoming me and letting me be a part of such an amazing Homecoming weekend! 🐶 From the step show and football game to the concerts, tailgaiting, and all the moments spent connecting, bonding, and meeting new people — it was a whole VIBE! 🙌🏾🔥

Until next time, Bulldogs! 🐾

One voiceover. One yes. A spot in Jay-Z's Book of Hov. 🎙️🔥

St. Louis creative @craigmitchelleffect knows that the big moments rarely announce themselves. Sometimes the job that changes everything looks like just another session in the booth. You show up, you give it everything, and you trust the work to travel further than you can see.

On Success SZN, Craig breaks down how a single voiceover became part of the Book of Hov, and what it took to be ready when that door opened. He gets into building a career out of the things he loves, moving across multiple creative lanes, and treating his talent like a craft worth investing in.

It's a real look at what it takes to make a living as a creative in the Lou, and proof that the reps young people put in today can take them places they never imagined.

“Don’t even push back. Say okay and get ready.” 🎭🙌🏾

St. Louis creative @craigmitchelleffect remembers the moment his world changed. As a freshman, he joined a campus organization where leaders looked at him and his friends and said, “Come on, you rolling with me.” Then she wrote a play and told him, “I wrote this role, and I wrote it just for you.” She knew he was interested in acting, and nothing about him rejected it: he stayed present, said okay and went to rehearsal. He learned the process before the big production, and that play led to another play.

On Success SZN, Craig pulls back the curtain on building a career out of the things he loves. From voiceover work to the many other creative lanes he moves in, he talks about betting on his gifts, staying versatile, and turning talent into a craft that pays.

It’s a real look at what it takes to make a living as a creative in the Lou, and proof that the lessons young people learn today can shape the careers they own tomorrow.

“I made the best grades I ever made in my life.” 📦🎙️

It took one summer in a warehouse to get there. After a rough semester left a mark on his transcript, St. Louis creative @craigmitchelleffect came home and clocked in at Super Value, the same warehouse where his dad worked. Hundreds of grocery pieces, a clock that wouldn’t wait, and a cart that couldn’t tip. The lesson landed. Craig went back to school the next year and turned everything around.

Tomorrow on Success SZN, Craig pulls back the curtain on building a career out of the things he loves.
