The ritual continues.
After a long pause, Spettro returns with a special guest from Italy.

Born near Turin and a member of the @outcast_torino since 2017, Cristian Sarde moves from hip hop and house roots to electro and techno. His sets carry a timeless groove shaped by passion and research that have taken him from Europe to North, Central and South America.

Joining him are Spettro residents: @flako.rytm, @cranio.obj and @mauro_passepartout, alongside @sam.fish21 and @grubbyhands local selectors of Borloo as part of our ongoing effort to give space to the people shaping the local scene.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
L’ho scritta mentre vivevo in questo ostello a Byron Bay, una piccola città sulla costa est australiana, dove spesso compare in giro lo stencil con la frase: “the r/evolution is love”.
Mi sento fuori posto e capita da che io mi ricordi.
Ma quando succedeva in questa compagnia, non era giudizio che trovavo dall’altra parte, quanto una predisposizione all'ascolto e alla cura reciproca.
Sempre ci sarebbe stato un piatto a quella tavola (il buon cibo era una costante)
...
E poi ancora festa e il bisogno comune di voler celebrare la vita.
Alcuni arrivavano mentre altri ripartivano,
ma è rimasta fissa la convinzione di aver vissuto qualcosa di unico e magico in quell'ostello.
È a loro
(e ad altri/e che non nomino qui, ma che hanno già lasciato da tempo in me la loro traccia, tutt'ora presente)
che vorrei dedicare questa piccola conquista personale.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Flip The Lid -_- For Tha Heads 👾

Introducing ‘For Tha Heads’

A new mix series dedicated to the fine art of vinyl DJing. This mix series will be less frequent and without timing restrictions, encouraging long blends, explorative mixing and creative flow for those looking some deeper cuts.

Less-so our typical prog sound, and more freedom of expression thru the medium of records.

FTL-_-4TH #1

CRANO B2B FLAKO aka ‘The Italians’

These two boys actually played a pretty significant part in the inception of this idea. With a growing interest in vinyl DJing personally, these Italian stallions came into my life at the perfect time. Rewind the clock to Perths glory months, put yourself in a random clearing 100m from the beach, feet dancing in cold sand, hips swinging to a constant underlying groove pumping at a steady BPM from a warm sound system - glorious. These boys blessed us with an extended set filled with minimal rollers on our first meeting and I’m buzzing they’ve provided a fresh recording of similar vibes for the inaugural ‘For Tha Heads’

Please enjoy

♥ STUDIO AMOR RETURNS THIS FRIDAY 3RD OF JULY ♥

There’s something special about finding each other in a room built around music. A place where conversations fade into basslines, where strangers become familiar faces, and where movement says more than words ever could.

This edition is an invitation to arrive open. To dance hard, to stay soft, to lose track of time and let the night unfold however it wants to. No pressure, no performance, just good sound, good people and the simple pleasure of being together.

Music by @cranio.obj and @andreabakulic
Free entry all night.

See you on the floor.

@enerobics_ b2b @jacobworld7 @ VOL. I

„We’ve mixed together countless times at home, plus a few festivals along the way, but this one felt different. It was completely organic.

We both know each other’s sound so well at this point and how we can compliment each other — when to step in, when to pull back, and how to set each other up for the next moment.

There was a real sense of space in this set. Instead of forcing tracks, we were listening, reacting, and making sure we played the right record for the right moment.

We didn’t even get through half the records we packed or play particular records we thought we would leading into the night, which says everything about how naturally it flowed.

Definitely one of our favourite mixes to date.“

An expression of feelings during their b2b 22:00-00:00.
