CHECK26 has gone down in history as one of the best Porsche Convergences not just in Chicago, but the world. You come to a backdrop of Chicago staples: The L, Sears tower (the proper name), 410 Porsches, and most importantly the energy.

The people that share this space with you for several hours one day out of the year is unlike anything you’ve imagined. You’re surrounded by history but most importantly— personality.

My first major Porsche event in my life was Check22 and I’ve been proud to say I’ve shot them all since then. But that’s the thing- you keep coming back. The addiction to the energy continues to grow and it’s the one thing in Chicago we all look forward to yearly.

I commend Adam, Dan and the entire CIO crew for doing what they do for the community. Raising money for the great south side charity Crushers Club and breaking the record for Porsche’s in attendance, just over 400.

I also thank my team, @teamking.co for all your work. And proud of @tiffany.rwb for having your 997 here on the largest stage finally as an Owner.

Could you imagine 400+ Porsches in all forms: Race cars, show cars, restorations, all lining up in Chicago? Don’t imagine- be there next time.

Post 1/2 The best @checkeditout.io ever? Many people are saying it. Rumors that @adammkern is in negotions with Alan Lario to perform "My Sweet Porsche" at #Check27 remain unconfirmed. What endures though are the wonderful people, dedicated volunteers, amazing art-culture-cars, and many other unique and special qualities, like the masterful direction of @crankcasecarrera, the exceptional driving skill of @ausflug.356 guiding the silver fox up (and down in reverse) a narrow ramp, the generosity of spirit of @andybizub @mpcars @rix_aircooled and @porschepatrick to the immaculate perfection of the @4frcars #gt3touring and the remarkable contributions of sponsors like @porschedowntownchicago @westmont_porsche @grahamrahalperformance @beckerbuiltporsche @barnabaautosport and again, so much, much more. Already excited for next year!
