The summer issue of Mountain Life Blue Mountains is here! Life is busy. The notifications don’t stop, the to-do lists keep growing, and there’s always somewhere else to be. We’re always promising ourselves we’ll slow down and simplify once we get through the current thing. But maybe that’s all just life. Maybe the answer is to accept it and enjoy the small moments when they happen. That’s the power of recharging in nature. It happens when we make it happen. In this issue, we celebrate inspiring members of the Blue Mountains community who prioritize those small moments and also succeed in navigating the busyness of their lives: giving back, building businesses, competing, being parents, being friends. Because we’ve all felt overwhelmed. But it’s the small moments that matter. Grab ‘em when you can. Swipe for a preview and grab a print copy at the usual rad spots throughout the Blue Mountains region, or read the full issue at the link in our bio. Despite being alone on his #bikepacking trip to Colombia last year, Paulo LaBerge (@crankngrind) quickly learned he’d never truly be on his own in the country, thanks to the countless friendly, helpful people who encouraged and guided him along the way. Read his story of an impromptu ride to Bogotá and find a lush photo gallery via the homepage now…

What a day. A huge group joined us to explore the incredible roads and trails around Luther Marsh, and it turned into one of those rides that we’ll remember for a long time!  Rail trail, winding gravel farm roads, singletrack, water crossings, one heck of a slippery bridge, and a coffee outside break along the way. A massive thank you to everyone who came out and made the day what it was. Seeing so many people come together to share an adventure by bike never gets old.  And an extra special thank you to @crankngrind for putting together such a fun, thoughtful route, and capturing the ride through his lens.. Paulo knows how to find the good roads, and we’re lucky to have him sharing them with us. We’re already looking forward to the next one! #coffeeoutside #dismountbikeshop #springride #gravelbike #springgravelride “

ONtrail has always been about the people, places, and experiences that make Ontario riding special. The trails. The shops. The aprés. As ONtrail continues to grow, we’re excited to begin collaborating with brands, businesses, and destinations that genuinely support Ontario’s mountain bike community and outdoor spaces. We’re especially interested in partnerships that feel authentic to the riding experience — the kinds of products, places, and services riders already use, visit, and talk about. That could include: • Outdoor and cycling brands • Local businesses • Tourism destinations • Wellness and recovery services • Events and community initiatives If your brand believes in supporting riders and growing the outdoor community in meaningful ways, we’d love to connect. Check out this @santacruzbicycles Stigmata that our friend @crankngrind built for himself. Paulo chose to run G3 front and RG3 rear hubs in cobalt blue, built to very fine @weareonecomposites convergence series hoops to deliver quick and efficient pickup and power transfer, while also providing super comfortable ride characteristics. What do you guys think? #project321 #weareonecomposites #madeincanada #bornintheusa

What. A. Day! 🍁✨ Bluebird skies, perfect temps, and peak fall colours made for an unforgettable Saturday adventure ride. Huge thanks to @crankngrind for crafting a killer loop with the perfect mix of gravel, trail, and backroad flow, with a healthy dose of gnar thrown in for good measure. We caffeinated at the shop, rolled through every shade of autumn, and wrapped it up with well-earned post-ride bevvies. 🍂☕️🍺 Already dreaming up the next one. Who’s in? 🙌
