Meet Addie and Anne, our 2024-25 Women’s Team captains!!😎

Addie (Senior) wrestled for Memorial last year and showed incredible stamina and skill, winning 18 matches by pins—all while being the only girl on the team!! She is a jiujitsu state champion with 5+ years of experience competing and coaching kids at @ronin_fitness_ . Addie is a highlight of the memorial team (both guys and girls!) with her cheerful personality, incredible skill, and hard work put in to growing the girls team!

Anne (Junior), while gung ho to be on the team last year, is entering her first year of competition after a long summer of training to prepare! An @ecmhs_wrestling open mats, @ecnwrestling UWEC open mats, and @crasstrained warrior, she has showed the dedication to the sport, aggressive skill, and natural leadership that everyone looks for in a wrestler!

Both these girls worked this fall to grow the Women’s Team from 2 to 10 GIRLS, and their hard work has surely paid off!💪 We’re excited to you guys compete and lead this year as the captains of the MHS Women’s Wrestling Team!!

See you on the mats!🤼‍♀️
