This little brown Honeyeater has us feeling very festive amongst all the red and green of the bottlebrush 💚❤️💚 These little birds can be spotted all over Australia, including here in the #PerthHills. Look out for them feeding on nectar in woodland habitats.

I bought some new paper to try drawing on where I’m not working on a white background, what do you think??

This teeny bird I drew with my light microscope (which I love!!). I’ve placed a few of Walter’s feathers for comparison...x

📷: I’m always taking inspiration from the most awesome @crazyfloofman 💙 (Superb Fairy wren chick)

Mondays be like.... 🤪👇

Magpies are very intelligent birds and are easily recognised by their black and white plumage and unique warbling birdsong.

The fire still burns but the weather is much kinder. We are not under threat although we still have smoke and the smell of fire. This yellow tail black cockatoo is painted from a photo taken by @crazyfloofman Thanks Rudi. Please do a little something for Mother Earth today in your neighbourhood. Happy days everyone. 👍👏👏#bekind #bekindalways #bekindtoanimals #cockatoo #cockatoosofinstagram #yellowtailedblackcockatoo #australianbirds

Happy Monday from me and this latest little floof (now featuring 40% extra floofiness!) - the result of a weekend of hard slog in the studio 👨🏻‍🎨 we’ve named him Blue Casanova - according to @kassandrahochwallner these guys are quite the little lovers and very unfaithful 😂 - thanks to @crazyfloofman for the beautiful reference image 😍
