Goodbye…this week we are sending off Josh and Connor to JMU for the next chapter of their lives. On Thursday a few of us went horseback riding with Josh and Friday night a bigger group surprised the two with a dessert hangout at BJs.

Josh has been a mentor and an amazing friend in my life. The way he carries his faith is authentic and draws others nearer to Jesus. Whether it was going fishing or Josh playing baseball senior year, there have been a lot of good times. I’m grateful to have known him as the legend that he is. Thank you Josh for everything you’ve done in my life and the lives of others!

Connor is a guy I’ve known for a long time, and he’s always been one of the coolest people I know. He has a confidence and energy that is unmatched as he goes through life. An inner peace is something that Connor carries everywhere he goes and it’s contagious if you’re around him long enough. I am sure that people at AHS will remember Connor for allowing them to feel comfortable and peaceful. Go do great things like I know you will Connor!

I know this isn’t truly goodbye, but nonetheless you both will be missed. Praying for God to do great things in your lives! My brothers, I can’t express how grateful I am for you both. Love y’all, Go Dukes 🫡

The finale of summer with some of my favorite people, what a way to end it 🫡

What more could I have asked for this summer? I was surrounded by a group of godly young men who became brothers as we grew together. God blessed me with experiences unlike anything else. From YoungLife Camp at Carolina Point to Shark Team VI in Duck, NC, it always felt like life was a gift around these guys. Praise God for Summer 2026, I can’t wait to see what’s next…

DAY 3- July 11
We heard from Dr. Daniel G. Amen, Professor Brett O’Donnell, and Sadie and Ileana from Vote. Later that day we went to Mt. Vernon for a special screening of Young Washington! It was incredible and the day ended with fireworks 🎆 PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!! 🇺🇸
