Phil’s message of changing the world through food resonates so much with us because that’s what @eattacotarian is all about! Small incremental changes that have huge impacts.

Phil don’t forget to stop into Tacotarian if you come through Vegas or San Diego (or more cities coming soon).

@phil.rosenthal was the closing keynote @informaconnect
@create_future_food . Always an amazing conference for emerging brands.

Day One at @create_future_food 🌅

Some places just make you slow down and appreciate where you are.

CREATE is being held at Terranea Resort on the California coastline in Rancho Palos Verdes, and it couldn’t be a better setting for a gathering of restaurant founders and operators.

My day started with a sunrise gratitude walk along the cliffs. No phone. No meetings. Just the sound of the Pacific and a chance to reflect before the conference began.

It ended with Brandon and Chance from our team flying drones over the coastline at sunset. Watching the golden light hit the ocean honestly felt like we were filming a movie.

In between those moments was what makes CREATE so special.

Founders with three restaurants preparing to franchise. Operators who spent years building 13 or 50 company-owned locations. Leaders running some of the biggest restaurant brands in the world. Different journeys, same curiosity, same willingness to learn.

Hearing Jim Bitticks from Dave’s Hot Chicken and Scott Boatwright from Chipotle share their experiences wasn’t about polished presentations, it was about real conversations on leadership, operations, and growth.

That’s what I love about this industry. The best operators never stop asking questions.

Thank you to everyone who joined our Rising Tides Live stream from the show floor yesterday. If you missed it, the replay is on the @calibbqmedia YouTube channel.

We’ll be back at it today interviewing more founders and restaurant leaders.

If you’re at CREATE, come find us. We’d love to tell your story.

Stay curious, get involved, ask for help.

Get out of your restaurant.

For years, I thought working harder was the answer. Longer hours, more hustle, more sacrifice. What I was really building was a business that couldn’t function without me.

Everything changed when I learned to ask for help and put myself in rooms with people who were building bigger than I was.

That’s why we’re back at @create_future_food surrounded by founders, operators, and leaders who are willing to share what’s working and what’s hard.

The best ideas don’t always come from inside your four walls.

If you’re at CREATE, come say hello at the @calibbqmedia Media stage.

If you couldn’t make it, join us today at 5:15 PM PT for our first ever Rising Tides Live from a conference floor on the Cali BBQ Media YouTube channel.

The four walls of your restaurant will teach you how to survive, the people outside of them will teach you how to grow.

Restaurant growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s built through the right partnerships, conversations, and connections.

Dinova is proud to sponsor #CREATE2026, where emerging restaurateurs, industry leaders, and growth-minded partners will come together to exchange practical ideas, build valuable relationships, and explore what’s next for the restaurant industry.

We’re looking forward to discussing how business dining can help restaurant brands drive incremental guest traffic, unlock new revenue opportunities, and support long-term growth.

Attending @create_future_food? Let's connect!

The next generation of restaurant brands won’t be built by accident, they’ll be built by founders willing to learn, connect, and think bigger.

That’s why @create_future_food is one of the most important events in the restaurant industry.

Over three days, emerging brands, operators, investors, and technology leaders come together to share what’s working, what’s changing, and where the industry is headed next.

Hear from the founders and leaders behind brands like Chipotle, Panda Express, Peloton, and more.

Whether you’re scaling your second location or your fiftieth, CREATE is where conversations turn into partnerships, ideas become strategies, and relationships shape the future of your business.

📍 July 20-22

📍 Terranea Resort | Rancho Palos Verdes, California

If you attend one restaurant event this year, make it CREATE @create_future_food On this episode of Digital Hospitality, @soches Sam Oches, Editor-in-Chief of @nationsrestaurantnews explains why CREATE is more than a conference.

It’s where restaurant founders, operators, investors, and industry leaders come together to learn from one another. Yes, you’ll hear from some of the biggest names in hospitality.

But the real value?

🤝 The conversations between sessions.
💡 The ideas you take back to your business.
📈 The relationships that last long after the event ends.

Sometimes the best investment you can make is simply putting yourself in the right room.

If you’re serious about growing your restaurant business, CREATE is where you need to be.

🎙️ Watch the full episode with Sam Oches to learn why the strongest restaurant brands are built through community, curiosity, and connection #digitalhospitality #CREATE2026 #RestaurantLeadership
