Today, we remembered something that adulthood often makes us forget:

Play is still for us.

For two hours, we put our phones down, laughed until our stomachs hurt, ran around like kids again, and simply enjoyed being in community.

There were no expectations—just games, conversations, music, and moments that reminded us that healing doesn’t always happen in silence. Sometimes, it happens in laughter.

Thank you to everyone who came ready to show up, be present, and embrace their inner child.

This was only the beginning.
Because joy is wellness.
Community is medicine.

And we’ll never stop making space for grown-ups to play.
Until next recess...#theinnerchildproject #therecessclub

Chapter 39: THE S H I F T

The very first step of getting over your fears is to have them. Just like the first step to getting better is being worse than you wish you were, and the first step to becoming who you want to be is being who you are. Don’t let your shame back you into a corner. You can only grow from here. 👑🤍✨

Thank you God for another year of life and clarity!

The Well Nourished Woman: Intentional Self-Care Sundays 🌹
Week 2 was powerful. One of my favorite things to witness is how we are reframing the “Strong Black Woman” narrative using our strength not just to push through, but to say no, set boundaries, and truly care for ourselves.
In this 7-week journey, we are intentionally setting aside time to show up for ourselves while practicing social self-care. And yesterday? It was filled with smiles, creativity, and connection. Give a woman space, and she’ll create something special every time.
I’m so happy with how everything turned out…you would think we’ve known each other for years with how naturally everything flowed.
I had the honor of hosting Week 2, with a beautiful space created by @itsme_amh and the venue providing everything we needed to bring the experience to life. The energy was intimate, grounding, and full of intention.
Thank you, @itsme_amh, for holding such a beautiful space and supporting our breathwork sip-and-paint workshop

She hit me with, “Babe, Tanysha and I are finally getting this concept out of the chat.”
— then gave me 24 hours 😅
Followed by, “but I know you be busy, so if you can’t…” 😩

The things I gotta do to prove my love! 🤣

Black. White. Fire. Two Dalmatians.
Nina Simone on the soundtrack.
And somehow… it all came together 🔥

When your muse trusts your vision, magic happens — even on short notice. 🎥
