In honor of @elizabethvanlierde NEW cookbook “Happy Hour at Home”coming out tomorrow, we hosted a fun launch party in her backyard on Saturday!

I’ve been working with Elizabeth for a little over two months to bring this to life. From start to finish, it’s been so much fun helping design and plan this event. A huge thank you to all the amazing vendors who were part of this day. Can’t wait to continue sharing more of this fun event!

That’s a wrap on our 29th Halloween Party 🎃 The 30th may be my last, I think I’m getting to old for this 😜

If I forgot you this year, I apologize 😩 Know you are always invited, even if you don’t get the formal invite!

This year we celebrated, belatedly Tom’s 60th birthday. I think you can see by the last video he enjoyed himself (was there any doubt that he wouldn’t 🤔)

🎃 Loved our balloons this year by Balloons by Courtney, they always set the stage for a great party

🎃A huge thank you to Greg at Highroller Rentals, who always makes my life easier (and saves the date for me, a year ahead of time) Photo booth, gaming tables and DJ

🎃 B&C Burgers for some yummy tacos and burritos

🎃The new Chick-fil-A on Alta Vista and Rose. My favorite part is I’m in their delivery zone now!

🎃 All our friends/family who took time out of their busy schedules to come party with us. The specialty drinks, appetizers and desserts everyone brought to share were awesome

🎃 Until next year….no sleepovers though IYKYK

When Grandma’s house is the perfect wedding venue!

I thought moving away from the East Coast meant I wouldn’t have to worry about photographing weddings during hurricane season anymore… but apparently, a hurricane didn’t get that memo! 😂 With a hurricane moving up the coast, rain was threatening Charlotte and Connor’s entirely outdoor wedding day.

Thankfully, we only got a few light sprinkles, and their friends and family were more than willing to weather the storm with them. Between jackets, umbrellas, and even a few napkins on heads, we managed to keep everyone relatively dry!

And honestly, the rain was just a small part of what made this day so special. Charlotte and Connor’s wedding was filled with so many meaningful touches, from Charlotte wearing her aunt’s wedding dress to taking photos in the same mirror her mom stood in while getting ready for her own wedding.

Now, Charlotte and Connor have beautiful memories of their own tied to this place, too. From their friends cheering them on as they showed off their rings to dancing the night away in the backyard under the string lights, surrounded by their favorite people, it was the sweetest reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to be perfect to be unforgettable.

Sometimes, the most meaningful venue isn’t a fancy ballroom or a stunning estate. It’s a place filled with history, love, and memories—and now, a few more of their own. ✨
