🎬 TICKETS ARE LIVE 🎬 We’re so excited to officially announce the lineup for the 3rd Annual Indi·Go Film Festival! Join us Saturday, October 24th at Stomping Ground LA for an evening of independent film, experimental work, and a whole lot of creativity + community. This year’s lineup features work from: Abbey Raymond, Barbie Chavez, Colin Harabedian, Dani Burd, Drew Underwood, Freya Starks, Hannah Sulak, Jewell Karinen, Laisha Martinez, Lydia McDonald, Mason Williams, Minica Casbara, Sarah Florez, THREE POINT PROJECT, and Tori Gorny. A portion of all of our proceeds this season will go to our season three beneficiary, A Place Called Home. APCH Focuses on empowering south Los Angeles youth, to achieve social, emotional, and economic, success through arts education. Today marks the 2 year anniversary of my 2nd album ‘Lucid Kids Never Die’ Today I listened to it all the way through for the first time in a long time, and it truly felt like I was watching a movie about someone who I once knew very well and am glad he just made it out of the mental prison he was trapped in. I’m grateful that I was able to tell my story in the most raw, authentic, dense, and immersive way and it resonates with people from my city, to all the way around the world, who all happened to find it at the right place and time. I could go on for hours on how special this body of work is to me, how layered the symbolism and genius the skits are, how transcendent and unparalleled the production is, the transitions, the intentionality of every sample, the axiomatic lyricism, and why I believe it’s a top 50 hip-hop album of all time — but I made it for me, so I’m slightly biased. Do not take my word for it. If you’re reading this, you’re a real one. If you’ve listened, I’d love to know what your favorite songs are, or favorite moments, or even small details, interpretations, or easter eggs you’ve discovered along the way. If you haven’t listened yet, get some headphones, turn the lights off, and get lost in a sonic journey about the most essential story ever told. What’s mine is yours. Thank you to everyone that played a part in bringing this album to life, and thank you to everyone that gives it life and new meanings with every listen. I love you.
