I just had to make a permanent spot for some more photos of this blanket. I also wanted to share a color list. I made this blanket during ✨Star-a-thon✨(MAT hosted by @melissa_made_that to make @bettymcknit amazing star blanket patterns). Sometimes my brain puts together awesome color palettes and sometimes I need a lot of help 🫠 I was inspired by a beautiful color palette @createinmecrochet came up with for a Juliet Blanket(pattern by @melissa_made_that - swipe to end to see that one! ) I switched a couple yarns that I didn't have, but kept the colors very similar, added a couple colors and this beauty was born. ✨

Pattern: 6 Day Supernova Blanket by @bettymcknit
Yarn: @hobbylobby ILTY
🤎Toasted Almond
🤍Linen
🌊Ocean
💜Hot Orchid
🩷Pink
💕Hot Rose
💜Orchid
🩵Medium Blue
🌸Cherry Blossom
💜Mixed Berry
💛Sungold

Wow I can’t say thank you enough. Thank you for a great first release day for me. Thank you for your endless encouragement and support. And thank you all for believing in me.

I had the absolute BEST group of testers I could have ever asked for. They made INCREDIBLY beautiful Finleys, were kind and collaborative, found ways to improve the pattern, caught inconsistencies and grammar errors my tired eyes glazed over, and were just all around the BEST hype team a girl could ask for. Please be sure to leave them love in the comments. I couldn’t have brought Finley Flower Blanket to life without them! And don’t forget to grab your copy of Finley on Etsy!! Link in my bio! 🌸🌸🌸

Also if you see ends in this video… no you didn’t 👀🙈🤣

Solara Tank Top - Tester Appreciation 💕

Kids Sizes!!!

I always say this but the kids sizes truly have my heart - there’s something incredibly precious about your own kid wearing something that you made for them.

These testers knocked this task out of the park ✨

Swipe through and check out their accounts for even MORE versions of what they created! The color work and creativity was so incredible to watch over the past couple weeks!

‼️Reminder: this pattern is on sale until 11:59pm EST!!! You can find it on my Etsy and Ravelry 🫶🏼

Every single “finished” crochet item at @createinmecrochet house had ends that still needed woven in. And we are talking about blankets and trivets that are a year old. We tried to convince her to weave them in but……no luck. #maybeoneday

✨Community Blanket ✨

This was one of my favorite projects. I got into crochet 10+ years ago for many reasons, but mainly because gifting is my love language and it makes it extra special when it’s made with my hands 🙌 This was extra extra extra special because it was made by 16 sets of hands 🫶🫶 and sent (secretly) to Melissa from @melissa_made_that . Mel is such a light in this community and we all love her fun, happy, quirky self 🤪 Thank you Mel for being an inspiration to us all.

I had so many wonderful contributors for this blanket. We all pitched into this in some way and that’s what makes it so special! 15 wonderful amazing people selflessly HANDMADE & sent Chloe Squares to me and I (with my own Chloe Squares contribution) joined the blanket together. I’m so incredibly thankful for each of you.

Hosting this Chloe Community Blanket lit a fire in me. It’s something I would love to make a regular thing! Keep an eye on my stories as I post “secret” stuff in there often.

Here are all the amazing humans that contributed to this blanket. Be sure to go give them a follow!

Today I opened a 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐚𝐠𝐞 from some absolutely incredible people in our crochet community, and I am still trying to process it all.

Inside was a Chloe Blanket 🌼 made by so many women in this community…stitched with love, joined together, and turned into something unbelievably special. The Chloe has been a part of so many blanket making journeys, and seeing it come back to me in this way has me completely emotional. 😭

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 ⏳

You all spent YOUR personal time making these squares, organizing, mailing, planning, and keeping this surprise under wraps! 🥹 Time is one of the most precious gifts we can give, and knowing so many of yall came together to create this for me is something I don’t think I’ll ever fully be able to put into words.

This is why crochet is about so much more than yarn👌🏻
It’s connection.
It’s encouragement.
It’s showing up for one another.
It’s celebrating each other’s wins, carrying each other through hard seasons (and boy oh boy I’ve been in one of the toughest this year), and creating friendships that stretch far beyond our hooks and skeins 🌈🫶🏻

To everyone who had a hand in this surprise: THANK YOU 🥹 From the bottom of my heart, thank you!! Huge shoutout to @lovelaughhandcraft for organizing the entire thing!

And I will treasure this gift forever.
🩷My heart is so very full today!
