Thank you to everyone who joined us for our #Pride Happy Hour and #RainbowRibbonCutting at @theaustineagle! 🫶🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

A huge thank you to the Austin Eagle for hosting us and for the warm welcome as they officially joined the Austin LGBT Chamber of Commerce with a Ribbon Cutting. We’re excited to celebrate this community space and its continued commitment to Austin’s LGBTQIA+ community.

Special thanks to the Austin Leather Crew for generously sponsoring the first round of drinks and helping us kick off the celebration in style. 🍻

We’re especially grateful to Gary, Luis, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the evening such a success. And to our incredible members, partners, and friends who packed the house—thank you for showing up, making connections, and demonstrating the power of community.

Here’s to new partnerships, new friendships, and many more celebrations ahead! Welcome to the Chamber, officially! 🌈

There are so many distractions, loneliness abounds, and hope can be hard to come by.

That’s why I’m thankful for those happenstance moments that allow me to make friends like James Walker. Him and I met at our shared coworking space here in Austin, and it eventually led to us exchanging stories of how we’re trying to handle the unique problems of our time.

On the newest episode of The InHeritage Podcast, James and I talk about the movie characters that inspired us, our eccentric interests in planes and music, the necessity to solve for silence, and why we should focus our attention on the people around us.
