We’re holding AUDITIONS for our next run of shows! All info here- plz reach out if you have any questions: Now in its second year, Songs N Scenes (IG: SongsNScenesNYC) is the NYC-based improv/variety show inspired by the original songs of a live musical artist. We are holding auditions to add improvisers to a set roster from which we’ll cast our next series of shows. Each show pays a $25 stipend to cast members. New improvisers must be available for an orientation rehearsal on 10/3, 12-3 PM. Improvisers must be excited to collaborate with other artists and art forms. A unifying quality of this show is the ability to play both smart and emotional. If that’s you, please apply. POC and LGBTQIA+ improvisers are strongly encouraged. Auditions will be in half-hour slots on Saturday, 9/19, from 1:30 to 4 PM. In your audition application, please email a headshot (or a snapshot that clearly shows you), a resume, and tell us who your favorite band or musical artist is (no judgment, promise!). Please send your applications to Louie4711@gmail.com and include “Songs N Scenes Auditions” in the subject line. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions. Thanks! -Songs N Scenes Producers Louie Pearlman and Shirley Rodriguez

Songs N Scenes pride photo dump!!! 🏳️‍🌈💙🎭🎶🏳️‍⚧️ We had such a great time with all of you at our Friday Pride show! We found our gender identity at the prom, we hid those questionable video tapes in our dad’s closet and we unsecesfully defended some shepherds from a troll. Ya know, typical LGBTQ improv stuff! And it was all inspired by the gorgeous music of @marble.guts! Plus we sold buttons! Thank you for choosing us for all your song needs and scene needs! 📸: @msremarkablenyc / @createtheremarkable

We can’t forget about our incredible musical guest @4kuko! His heartfelt, ethereal songs inspire our improv Friday night at @comedybrooklyn! 🎟️🔗 in bio! More about Kuko: Kuko is a solo project from Kurt Cruz. The name came from his older brother, who couldn’t quite say “Kurt” when they were kids. It stuck. So did the music.
