Wow wow wow Still softly landing after three weeks @modemfestival I started as a volunteer — asked Valentino @dj_vert3x to help with art and deco, he laughed and said “that’s wishful thinking” but proceeded to hand me a paintbrush anyway. Over one week I painted 54 wooden panels, lots of 3D printed eyes and more, and eventually got the honour of Flood @createwondr asking me to paint the stage he designed — The Seed. @complaints_with_callum installed the lycra + designed the canopy above the stage?? Bro. Talented AND hardworking, unreal. When I saw it stretched dark Monday night, before the stage opened officially, a flicker of doubt came up. Once I saw it daytime Wednesday morning though, I almost cried happy tears. Honestly one of the most organised, hardest-working crews I’ve ever been part of — every department locked in, moving as one. Modem made me feel seen and gave me a chance to create alongside such an inspiring international crew. This is what happens when this many hands and this much care come together. Magic. 🤍 Thank you to all involved! It was an honour and a pleasure to co-create! In my next post you will see the seed lit up at night! #modem2026 #modemfestival #modemfestival2026 #cocreation #stagedesign

📣 Final call for decor and installation artists for Earth Frequency Festival 2026! Applications for our Creative Arts Program close this weekend. We are still looking for artists, designers and crews to help shape EFF2026 into a fully immersive gathering space. Our decor and installations are not just decorative backdrops, but active parts of the festival experience, offering shelter, atmosphere and moments of wonder throughout the day and night. We are looking for pieces and structures that are sustainable, handmade and respond to Woodfordia itself, creating spaces that invite exploration, rest, play and connection. Bonus points if you incorporate our Full Bloom theme 🌺

I really enjoyed the chance to create a bunch of new stuff in Blender for this stage redo- I think the stage pops just a little more with these new pulses! The @golden_phoenix_togetherwerise after party absolutely packed out the Kindred Band Room last night, what a blast! Thanks to @bryan_itch and @createwondr for the incredible stage design, I've had a bunch of fun working with it once again!

Absolutely mind blowing stage magic ✨🔥 Huge love and infinite gratitude to the creative wizards: @bryan_itch Michael Flood @createwondr Mardie Jackson @fractalbloomvisuals Marc Pascall @marcpascal_artist_designer Andrew @bad_idea_factory @tiggz_barrett for building the stage 🫶 You legends didn’t just build a stage… you built a portal. The detail, the colour, the energy, the intention. It was alive, breathing, glowing with heart. And then… @spoonbillmusic absolutely lifted us into the stratosphere 🚀 What a set. What a journey. Smiles everywhere, bodies moving, pure connection on the dancefloor. One of those moments where you look around and just know something special is happening. Hands down one of our favourite Golden Phoenix memories so far… and this is only the beginning. The Phoenix is rising 🐦🔥 and this Anzac Day we will be putting this entire stage up in a venue near you!!!

Alright you absolute weapons… Here are some of our ALL TIME favourite Golden Phoenix moments, captured by the one and only Nic Baxter Photography 🫶 Absolute wizard behind the lens. Full album is here, go lose yourself in it: https://baxstudio.pic-time.com/-goldenphoenixtogetherwerise1/gallery?inviteptoken2=AAAAABMAAAB-dZfrnpZwQqSsKYBcO5CHMPeU If you’ve got absolute HEAT sitting in your camera roll, now is the moment. Drop your best photos or most feral videos in the comments. I’m giving away a FREE Golden Phoenix hoodie to whoever posts the clip or shot that blows me away the most. No holding back. Bring the fire ❤️🔥 Now listen up… Our ANZAC DAY DAY PARTY FUNDRAISER is OFFICIALLY LIVE. April 25th 12pm through to 3am 15 hours. No mercy. Event link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1DFaaUswoM/?mibextid=wwXIfr We’ve been in full send mode all week locking this in and we are finalising the venue right now. Location drop in the next couple of days. The lineup? Stacked beyond reason. Inside stage. Outside stage. Multi genre carnage. Two full scale festival facades built INSIDE a boutique venue. This is not a casual pop in for a beer. This is assemble the crew, cancel your Saturday responsibilities, and prepare for lift off type energy. Golden Phoenix is rising properly on this one. This will be one of the wildest, heaviest, most electric parties we have ever delivered. Party of the year. Locked. Get on it 🔥

Such a beautiful set, massive thanks to @8bufo8 🫶🔥 This stage was the pure definition of synergy, the kind of magic that only happens when the right people come together with heart, vision, and absolute determination. I knew it was going to be something special with @bryan_itch and Michael Flood @createwondr collaborating, but I could never have imagined just how next level it would become with @fractalbloomvisuals bringing the projections to life and @marcpascal_artist_designer unleashing those lasers and Andrew @bad_idea_factory taking care of lighting. The end result was honestly breathtaking. We were also so blessed to have @tiggz_barrett come on board for stage build and @jemimapudddledduck absolutely crushing it heading up ops and Josh Thomas @flavius.space plus so many more superstars behind the scenes. What truly blows my mind is this, this entire production was built by a volunteer crew, for a private party of only 250 people, while also being forced to relocate the entire site with just 9 days notice. Most festivals with paid teams, huge budgets, and months of planning couldn’t pull that off. That’s not luck. That’s not coincidence. That’s a crew that refuses to fold. That’s what happens when people back each other, trust the vision, and show up at 110%. Golden Phoenix is more than a party, it’s a growing force powered by community, passion, and people who refuse to accept limits. The future is bright, and this is only the beginning. If you want to collaborate, create, build, perform, or be part of something truly special, reach out. Because this crew is just getting started, and the potential is genuinely immeasurable 🫶🔥✨
