How has it been a week since I spent time at the Cactus Craft House 💕 🌵 ?!
What a joy to jump right into friendship with women who start as strangers with a common 🪡 thread: Jesus! I’m so grateful for each of you!!
I always walk away wishing I had captured more photos! Here’s just a (very) few of the (many)moments! Thank you @kellybangscreative for your generous hospitality, leading in devotion time, creativity and sharing control of the music 🎤 🎵 and so much more! @just_stitched for sharing your gift of hospitality through the delicious meals and beautiful conversations about what matters most! October was the absolute best month! 2 retreats- tons of new and old friend time- fall in the mountains- coffee and crafting with friends- getting to love on 12 beautiful gals- and bonus visits with my daughters along the way. It is impossible to capture that all in one post and 10 pics, but know if you crossed my path this month, I am grateful to have you in my life💗. .

Last weekend I had the privilege of attending the Make It Merry retreat at the Whatever Crafthouse in Newton, Kansas. I don’t even have words to describe how much my heart needed the time away. That I got to share it with my mom, by taking a road trip there was even more fun!! So much laughter and memories made with both new and old friends. No trip would be complete without a little craft supply shopping and antiquing along the way. If you ever get the chance to visit and stay at the Crafthouse, do it! I never wanted to leave! A huge shoutout to Amy and Kami for planning and praying over the perfect retreat. You guys really made this a one of a kind, amazing, merriest of merry retreats. Thanks ladies!! @mommymuddling @chipped_in_time_

Trying to avoid more tears. But writing this description is almost too big today. I’m home. I cried all the way here. I woke up in my favorite place, but missing the anticipation of what shenanigans would take place throughout the day ahead. The words are hard. The feels were so huge all weekend! From start to finish. Here is a glimpse of the fun that was had! God in absolutely every single detail. From planning to clean up. Thank you @mommymuddling for being my partner in crime. Thanks to each and every lady that attended and a super shout out to the ones who couldn’t last minute. You were missed and prayed for. Thank you to our surprise visitors that were passing through town and stopped by. Oh the most scrumptious of meals prepared with all the love from @robinlynn_03 . @ashleymirganjackson! Thank you so much for all the goodness you shared. From a personal perspective it was confirmation of things I have been experiencing and learning for months in preparation for this event. God is so good! I want to also say thank you to all of my followers who encourage and cheer on this community!! Thank you for making this a merry place to be!!

On the last night of the #makeitmerryretreat we dressed up and had a special Christmas meal. @robinlynn_03 prepared the meal for us…
@chipped_in_time_ and I decorated and set the tables. We lit prayer candles and prayed together. We spent time reflecting on the one true light and we enjoyed a delicious cake made by @emilykatesbakery and a super special surprise zoom visit from @ashley.morgan.jackson where she shared with us about creating a plan and strategies for preparing our hearts for the season ahead. It was an evening we won’t soon forget! #jesusisthereason
