Thirteen letters.

Today, Macie received her 13th—and final—company tryout letter from Creative Dance Studio.

It’s hard to put into words what this moment means. What started as a little girl walking into the studio with big dreams has grown into 16 incredible years of dance, 13 of those on Company—filled with countless rehearsals, performances, competitions, friendships, victories, setbacks, laughter, tears, and memories that will last a lifetime.

This final letter isn’t just about another year of dances she was chosen for or a team she has made. It’s a symbol of the dedication, resilience, passion, and heart she has poured into dance for most of her life. Through every challenge, every early morning, late night, sore muscle, and happy and sad tear, dance has helped shape the young woman she has become.

Creative Dance Studio has been so much more than a dance studio. It has been a second home, a family, and a place where Macie has grown not only as a dancer, but as a person.

While it’s bittersweet knowing this is her last company letter, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. Thank you to every teacher, choreographer, teammate, and family who has been part of this journey. You have all left footprints on her heart.

Congratulations, Macie. We couldn’t be more proud of you. One final company season, one final chapter… and a lifetime of memories still to come.

And just like that, the curtain closes on a beautiful beginning. 💗
