POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

BEFORE NETFLIX, THEY WERE ALREADY CALLING HIM “HOLLYWOOD.” 👑🎬

OMO! NO BE TODAY! 😭🔥 We went digging through old articles, interviews, and the archives, and @kingkendrickdaniel’s journey goes WAY back!

In 2004, a tip from local painter Mr. Ludy led Kendrick and his little brother Eddie to the set of HBO’s Warm Springs in Summerville, Georgia.

To Kendrick’s surprise, his godparents Cammie and Tory, and godsister Hannah were already part of the production! That family connection led to him playing their son in one scene and another young boy in a separate scene.

TWO ROLES. TWO SCENES. TWO PAYCHECKS! 😂👏🏿👏🏼

The 2005 film featured Hollywood heavyweights Kenneth Branagh, Sex and the City star and Emmy winner Cynthia Nixon, and Oscar winner Kathy Bates! 🏆

By senior year, classmates and teachers had nicknamed him “HOLLYWOOD.” The yearbook receipts are right there! 👀

But his journey wasn’t overnight.

After building a successful career in music management, Kendrick returned to his passion for acting. His setbacks, sacrifices, and faith are reflected in his bestselling memoir, They Want My Story But They Don’t Want My Fight.

From his 2024 international book tour to September 2026 magazine features in France and Dubai, his reach continues expanding! 🌍🔥

And now? Tyler Perry’s Netflix hit Beauty in Black, red carpets, and a growing film and television career!

But Kendrick’s dream goes beyond fame: telling stories that change lives and one day earning an Oscar and Emmy.

THE UNDERDOG IS RISING, AND SOMETHING TELLS US HE’S HERE TO STAY! 👑🔥

The Krowns, which part of his journey surprised you most? 👀👇🏿👇🏽

Seein’ Ghosts is out and it couldn’t have happened without a team of new friends believing in me.

My first new song of 2026. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for the support. Thank you for believing in what we’re trying to do. I had this song for 5 years wondering how could it be brought to life?

Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. The storm didn’t stop the assignment. God will still bless you publicly when you stay the course. Honored to share the journey, the lessons, and the purpose in this @canvasrebel feature. This season is proof that endurance produces fruit. Keep going. 🌱✨

This moment wasn’t about political parties or public debates.
It was about kids. 🤍

About confidence.
About belonging.
About protecting young people from becoming talking points instead of human beings. 🛡️

That’s why I wrote Set The Standard. 📘
Because too many kids — and too many adults — are still asking,
“Am I enough?”

We can have different beliefs and still lead with dignity.
We can hold strong values and still choose compassion.

When we protect our kids, we protect the future. ✨
Set The Standard.

Grateful to @lambdalegal for the invitation to speak and for their continued work serving communities with care, advocacy, and compassion.

I stood at the podium in front of the U.S. Supreme Court 🇺🇸⚖️ as an ally — calm, clear, and committed.

Not to debate people, but to defend principles.
As SCOTUS heard the cases BPJ and Hecox 📜 — cases centered on whether trans youth are allowed the same opportunity as their peers to play sports, belong, and grow without being singled out — I showed up for the kids 🧒🏽🧒🏾🧒🏼.

No matter your political views, your values, or your principles, we should all be able to agree on this: the world needs more love 🤍, and ALL children deserve a future — one where they are protected, supported, and allowed to dream without fear ✨.

I had the honor of speaking alongside congressmen and women, leaders, history makers, and impactful people who help change the world every single day 👥🌍. I’m filled with gratitude that I get to live in my dreams while standing in my purpose 🙏🏾.

Grateful to @lambdalegal for their leadership and for trusting my client and I in this moment 🤍⚖️.
Leadership doesn’t shout.
It protects 🛡️.
It unites 🤝.
We raise the standard ✊🏾✨

Walking in answered prayers. 🕊️✨🚶🏾‍♂️
This season taught me that alignment will take you places hustle never could 🙏🏾 When I stopped forcing doors 🚪, stopped over-explaining 🧠, and started honoring peace 🤍, God made the path clear ✨ Every step forward came with clarity, confirmation, and calm — not chaos 🌱

I’ve learned that standards aren’t about being rigid or unreachable 🚫 They’re about being rooted 🌳 Rooted in faith ✝️ Rooted in purpose 🎯 Rooted in self-respect 👑 When you raise your standards, you naturally raise the rooms you walk into 🏛️, the conversations you entertain 🗣️, and the life you allow access to 🔐

That’s the heart behind Set The Standard 📖✨
The book is about choosing alignment over approval 🧭, boundaries over burnout 🛑, and obedience over urgency ⏳ It’s about becoming who God called you to be — unapologetically 💪🏾 — and trusting that when you move in purpose, the right doors will open without force 🚪✨

I didn’t get here by accident 🙌🏾
I got here by listening 👂🏾
By trusting timing ⏰
By walking when it was time to walk 🚶🏾‍♂️✨
If you’re in a season of transition, trust the path even when it feels quiet 🤍 Answered prayers don’t always arrive loud — sometimes they arrive peaceful 🕊️

📖 Set The Standard is available on Barnes & Noble 📚 and Amazon KDP 🛒

This pimp is no longer in distress. 😮‍💨

Just wrapped the Friday After Next stage play in ATL🍑 — playing Money Mike was straight joy.
Sold-out show, real laughs, real moments, real presence in the room.

Doing what I love in a city that I love. Atlanta helped grow me into the man I have become. Grateful fr — I don’t take any of this lightly.

Big love to the entire cast and crew — the work, the energy, the teamwork made this one special.
To the ones who showed up for me — I felt it heavy, and that love will always be returned tenfold.
And to the ones who didn’t… no hard feelings. Elevation answers everything. 🚀

2026 we’re raising the bar — in the work, in the boundaries, in the energy.

More purpose. More peace. More on the way.
Preciate you @porshathepoet and @creativeblackcinema always. 🤍🎭

This season is about alignment, discipline, and walking boldly in purpose. 🎬🎥🍿📚
Not chasing validation. Not moving out of fear.
Just trusting God, doing the work, and letting the results speak.✨

Set The Standard was written for anyone ready to elevate —choosing healing over habits, self-respect over shortcuts, and becoming the standard instead of waiting for one.

📖 Set The Standard available now on @barnesandnoble and @amazonkdp

Your change truly starts on page one.💪🏾
The Standard Society coming soon — a faith-forward community built on purpose, accountability, growth, and real transformation beyond social media.
Still working. Still praising.
God gets the glory. Always. 🙌🏾✨
