This past year, having to sit out of dance for almost a year taught me one of the biggest lesson: just dance. I would always get so caught up in my head, especially when learning combos. I would overthink every movement and worry about making mistakes. Spending almost a year wishing I could dance again completely changed my perspective. Coming back hasn't always been easy. I still get in my head, I still overthink, and I'm still learning to trust myself. I remind myself that there was a time when I would've given anything to be doing exactly what I'm doing now. This season my goal is to just dance and enjoy what I love doing and I think I tried my best at doing that last night. Not every combo has to be perfect, and not every movement needs to be overthought. Sometimes you just have to let go, trust yourself, feel the music, and just dance. Because I didn't fight so hard to get back to something I love just to spend some moments worrying.
@creativehopead thank you for giving me this safe space to do this
@taylorcbright thank you for this beautiful combo I loved it so much

There’s happy… and then there’s whatever THIS is. 🤩🪩💖
Taking class at @iddancecomp and having the actual time of my LIFE! The music, the energy, the dancing… can every class feel like this?! 💃✨

Still smiling. So happy! The MOST fun 🫶

…and just like that! Since 2024 I’ve worn a part-time brace to correct a minor scoliosis with my back and now in 2026 I’m as straight as can be🥰 for the last 6 months out of brace!!

things like scoliosis don’t stop your dreams, they just make you work harder…still have some corrections to work on for alignment but it’s all up from here…cantstopwontstop.

The face at the end says it all 🥹🤭💜

One year ago, I couldn’t do a back handspring by myself on the tumble track. Now… skills on the floor loading! ✨

With my friends cheering “Let’s go!” and “You’ve got this!” every little win feels even sweeter. Having people believe in you while you’re learning to believe in yourself is the best feeling. 🫶

From the first practice to the stage, I’m sharing the tries, the little wins, and the happy faces along the way. Keep cheering. Keep trying. Keep growing. 💜

There’s so much growing that happens before the stage lights come on. 🥹💜✨

I’m excited to share more of my journey with you! The little wins, the wobbly tries, and the moments when I find the courage to try again. Each one is helping me build confidence along the way. 🫶

Progress over perfection, and so much to look forward to! 🌟 #tinydancerbigdreams
