Bay Ridge project wrapped! 🎨

What started as a simple client brief for a single duck turned into one of the most rewarding creative challenges I’ve tackled recently. Stepping out of my usual style forced me to rethink my approach to scale, texture, and composition stretching my process in ways I didn't expect.

Every piece is a stepping stone to sharpening the craft and pushing the work further.

Grateful for the trust on this one. Plenty of new work in the process and I'm excited to share what’s coming next. Stay tuned! 🫠🙃😉🙏🏽🐥

In Loving Memory of Brain/Tom Charles/Tomahawk @tomcharlesmusic

Tom was a pillar of our community, remembered not only for his unwavering acceptance and kindness but also for his vibrant spirit. Whether expressed through his music or his unmistakable sense of style, he brought a unique energy to every room he entered. While we gather to mourn his passing, we also celebrate the profound and lasting impact he left on all of our lives. You aren’t truly gone your spirit lives on in all of us, and we will carry your memory forward as we continue our journeys.

While it is difficult to create memorial pieces under such sudden and heartbreaking circumstances, it is a profound honor to paint this for you. Rest in peace, my brother. You are deeply loved and will never be forgotten.

“To my close circle of friends I’ve been fortunate enough to build a relationship since we’ve meant Thank you for being my second family. As we navigate these difficult times together, I value each of you and the strength we find in our unity.”

Love You Family ❤️

Growth

“ Create your own Journey validating your own worth and maintaining a commitment to the truth, you build the foundation of integrity required to inspire others. To move forward, one must first cultivate a state of “productive discomfort” the space where current capabilities are challenged by new ambitions. True professional and personal growth is found at the intersection of self-awareness and courage. To lead others effectively, one must first be honest about the path ahead and resilient enough to walk it.”

LOVE❤️ IS BLIND 🫣

New Work Coming Soon….. #💔 #loveisblind

When you are in the midst of deep love, when the world is filled with rainbows and butterflies, everything your partner does is right. This is where the term “love is blind” comes from. You are so “blinded” by love that you cannot see any of your lover’s flaws and your own.

Recently, I’ve been lost and searching for Deeper meaning I’m working on new pieces that will lead to healing. That’s a profound perspective on my art. It really captures how creativity can be a way to process emotions and experiences. It’s true that not everyone sees the deeper connections between pain and beauty, but those who do often find a sense of solace and understanding in artistic expression.

What kind of art resonates with you the most in this context?

Clique (n; ‘klik): A narrow, exclusive circle or group of persons, especially one held together by common interests, views, or purposes.

As a collective, we’ve been working together for the past 10 years or so. Building together, growing together… and we wanted to create something for all the creators to have what we have: community. And so came the Surrounded By Stories film showcase. If you were there, we hope we did our jobs to leave you all educated, entertained, and inspired. But if you missed out?

See you next year.
