I design. I care about the environment. I see the important role creative professions play in either improving or hurting the mitigation of climate. And I intend to do the first. 🌱

The world we want for our kids is possible. And it’s closer than it looks. ☀️💚🌎

Picture our kids breathing clean air on the walk to school, playing in green spaces, and growing up in homes powered by the sun.

That world is already being built. Solar panels on rooftops, wind turbines on hillsides, and communities everywhere choosing clean, healthy energy.

Climate change is already making heatwaves, floods, and wildfires more frequent and more extreme in our kids’ lives. Burning coal, oil, and gas brought us here. Now we can leave them behind.

As parents, grandparents, and caregivers, we’re pulling back the curtain on what’s possible, and we’re not going back. Let’s step into it together! ✨👩🏾‍🤝‍👨🏼👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏿👨🏾‍🤝‍👨🏿 ⚡

Beside her, a little child hugs a stuffed bunny and grins. In front of them is a bright green meadow full of renewable energy, with solar panels, wind turbines, and flowers under a blue sky.

That’s a wrap NYCW. It was so good for the soul to get OUT into the world again and meet all my climate allies! You legends.

I learned the hard way that all work and no play burns the spirit out. It’s good to be BACK. Same, but different 💃

Until next time lovely people! X

A few snaps of a jam-packed week at New York Climate Week.

From Monday’s launch with @slickwebseries (as featured in @forbes! this week), announcing the incredible Lameya as the New Board Chair of @creatives_for_climate 🎉, to our UNFCCC event on the Narratives for Climate Action Plan to Accelerate with the UN Snr Advisor on Information Integrity, to supporting our friends at @carmackproductions with their public launch (more on this work soon!), it’s been truly amazing spending time collaborators and friends IRL 🫶🏻

And it’s not finished yet!

Off to the UN Headquarters today on advancing climate action through culture.

More, soon!

📣 Calling all artists, creatives and communicators in Türkiye.
Back in March, Creatives for Climate launched the GreenSHOUTING Guide in collaboration with B Lab — a practical framework designed to help brands and creative professionals talk about climate proudly, honestly and with personality.

Now, as COP31 approaches in Antalya, Creatives for Climate and Esmiyor are joining forces to bring GreenSHOUTING into a new context: Türkiye.

If you’re a creative professional living or working in Türkiye, we want to hear from you.
Tell us through a short survey how climate shows up in your work and what would help you communicate about it more effectively. Your responses will help us shape GreenSHOUTING for the Turkish creative and cultural context.

This project is supported by the British Council’s Creative Climate Collaborations Programme.
