Kinya C.

The Woman who does it all...
in between making shirts, spending time with the family, watching over children, taking care of her mother, giving affection to her husband, and protecting her sons; she does that and so much more..
This is a specimen of what happens when she puts her fingers in it. Kinya turns anything into magic.
I have grown to be pickier about my food choices.. Trying to stay away from fats, the bad sugars. Not eating dairy or pork. She modified a lot for me to make her traditional meat loaf. It was AMAZING. All made from scratch. She substituted: dairy milk with almond milk, regular butter with vegan butter. And she used a few organics in the mix.
I watched as she calmly cooked all food simultaneously and somehow nothing was cold once I got it. One of my favorite southern meals I’ve had. ❤️
Thank you for understanding me and thank you for accommodating me. And thank you for being open to new things. Glad we could teach each other ❤️

“Sometimes life forces us to calm down”

Traveled to Louisiana for a couple days and I paused in time. Been in Nebraska for the past year. The paces move so different. 402 folks focus on the mission and the grind. And if you from the 318 you make sure family is straight. It’s so important to step outside of OUR own world. Outside of OUR own comfort zone. Learning through experience is my favorite. Open your eyes up to something new and you might be surprised at how much you enjoy it ❤️
My little cousin Aiydn gave me his hoodie. Auntie raising him to be a good man indeed. Home sick and ready to be back✨
