Claire got married in the same church where her parents and grandparents said their vows before her, and held her wedding reception in her childhood home’s backyard. Growing up, she watched marriage after marriage begin in that exact church, so standing at the altar herself felt like continuing something already years in the making.

She and her husband never toured a single other venue. Her childhood home already held years of family memory, and adding their wedding weekend to it mattered more to them than finding somewhere new. It made the entire weekend feel like theirs in a way no other location could. 🤍

Claire and her gals on the morning of her wedding at her childhood home 🤍 there is nothing more special than getting married somewhere that means something deep and personal to you, where every corner, backdrop, and locale of your wedding day shares a memory with your lived experiences.

There is something immensely special about a wedding at home. And for Claire & Mac’s Arkansas nuptials, the bride’s childhood home was the backdrop for their weekend’s events. Each corner of their property represented a place that was both gorgeous and deeply sentimental, and what better a combination for their wedding imagery. Cheers to the Wagners!

Out the window of the bedroom of her childhood home she said her vows in the family garden in front of her nearest family and friends. Then down to the barn, built just for this special day, she shared dinner and danced the night away with her groom…and ended it with a surprise guitar performance from him as the cherry on top. It was perfect in every way!
