Craft Cafe recap: ✨blessed✨ that I got to collab with another friend’s (@ayeehollaaaa) business so early into being a business owner myself 🥹 I always envisioned nangi’s to bring community together but also uplift all of my homies around me as well. If I’m winning, we’re all winning 🤝

Huge shoutout for @creativityyblowss for co-hosting the cutest sip, puff, and paint! ☕️🍃 Craft Cafe will carry on, so be on the lookout for future dates👀

Thank you to @soupthemagazine for putting the show together and it was lovely to meet all the fellow artists :)

“Compose Yourself Project” – This piece invites people to “compose yourself” on a sheet of paper, contributing to a collective composition notebook I am creating as part of an ongoing project.

“Golden Child” – Inspired by the creative collaging process my friends and I used to engage in as children, this work fun, carefree, and experimental process of creating art as a kid

“Stars #1 & #2” – dually reflect the struggle in navigating life, allow viewers to give themselves a gold star in wonky comic sans “I’ll be OK” and “I’m trying my best”

Soon (probably) more explanations and process photos can be found at: @Akome.art
