POV: A woman who told God what she was and wasn’t gonna do. Little did I know He slapped an uno reverse card on the table when I least expected it.

I thought I was done with acting, at least for a while. But I DID know that if I got the opportunity again, I’d be better and more grounded given the break I’d had from it. Who knew this moment would be ✨Ethereal✨

Lean in to community ❤️

We shot a film in one day!!

What a wild, crazy, beautiful weekend it was shooting 1/10 short films in LA with @blackgirlsfilmcamp 💐

Although I never personally had a BGFC when I was a teen, what a beautiful reminder of delayed, not denied for it to be apart of the journey right now. Thank you, God. I see what you’re doing 🧎🏽‍♀️

Don’t nobody call me, I got a movie to cut in 3 weeks

Future ABJ Readers, it’s (release) party time! 🥳💃🏽

And you’re ALL invited! ✨

Come celebrate with me in some pre-release fun in my hometown on April 13th. There will be small-bites, pictures, book-signing with the author, and attendees will have early access to purchase a signed copy! ✍🏽🌱

You can let me know you’ll be joining in 2 different ways: RSVP via the online invite and/or join the guest list on ABJ’s Facebook! (Both located in my bio). I can’t wait to celebrate this God-milestone with you! 🎉

If you can’t make it, no worries. I’m in faith that one of the next events will be at a city near you! 😉
