📍 Dom Zhemchug, Tashkent, Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 🌎

WE MADE IT inside the iconic, UNESCO World Heritage, Dom Zhemchug, the city’s most distinctive piece of Soviet modernism.

Built in 1985 as an experiment in how people could live together vertically. Architect Ofelia Aydinova reimagined the traditional Uzbek mahalla inside a 16-storey concrete tower - with shared courtyards suspended between groups of floors.
