I don’t think there could’ve been a better way to ring in my 30s than by spending time with some of my oldest friends in some of my favorite places, and then coming back to Manchester for one hEll of a part-E🪩🎉

I am older, debatably wiser, but so incredibly lucky to go into my 30s where i am.

This Week I Have Mostly Been:
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: the detailed reading update that nobody asked for: i did that thing again. so i am done with my physical copy of Royal Assassin. i just can't consume epics fast enough these days, instead i've picked up The Heart of Night and Fire by Nisha Tuli. don't feel bad, Royal Assassin, i didn't even physically read Stormlight 4. my powers grow weak.
𝗟𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼: finished the excellent Poppy War and have made a good start on the next book. currently my plan is to slip the rest of Royal Assassin in on audio before i start the Burning God. of course, that might depend on what kind of an ending the Dragon Republic has in store 👀
𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼: unless you have incredibly good taste, you may not be familiar with scottish songstress Vickie Paxton. check her out on Spotify. her songs give me the feelz 💖
