The other week I took part in the most wonderful week of stage combat training with True Edge—this time diving into longsword and advanced unarmed. Two very different styles with completely different demands, but both ridiculously fun to explore. The standard in the room was unreal and I was so lucky to be paired with the amazing @elizabethaback and @linneaelfstromschederin who made it such a rewarding (if not a bit sweaty) experience (never been more bruised)!

I also managed to nab my 4th Distinction and as such have landed the qualification of “Advanced Fighter”! It’s been a tough and exciting journey, and I’ve learned so much across every discipline. I’m so immensely grateful to everyone I’ve met whilst doing all this combat this year. It’s been so fulfilling and everyone of you has been so supportive and kind.
And as always, thank you to all the incredible teachers we had throughout the week, your advice and guidance is invaluable!

Day 4! The penultimate day!

Chaos struck once again starting at 8am, suddenly down an actor for the day so I had to step in (luckily a small role so not too many lines to remember) a few hiccups with permissions to build a stage but we got there in the end!

I got to share the stage with @creerayner who unsurprisingly was a very good actor and made the stage a comfortable place to work on!

The extras were incredible helping transform me into the character even running a couple errands so crew didn’t have to leave the set!

We overcame the many obstacles that were put in our way and we got the best we could with the unexpected circumstances! Couldn’t be prouder of the crew and the cast for smashing it!
