The original skin stain that we were OBSESSED with before hybrid stains took over 👀

For some reason, we’ve seen less and less of it in the industry, so we had a little itch to bring it back into the Academy and trial it on our clients.

And safe to say… we’ve fallen in love all over again.

The biggest difference we noticed compared to hybrid stain? The finish.

Henna gives such a beautiful soft, powdery finish. Almost like you’ve filled your brows in with powder.

One thing to note: Henna and lamination don’t mix.

The lamination process chemically changes the structure of the brow hair, making it much more porous. This means the Henna reacts much faster than it normally would, while you still need to leave the Henna on for its required development time and can result in over processed, dried out hair.

We honestly forgot how good this finish was and now we’re wondering why we ever stopped using it. Do you offer henna in your salon?
