TWO YEARS WITH YOU 🩵

Two years since rescuing our Tilly girl from @lifelineanimal, and the question still remains - who saved who?

We know she had a life before us; a life of neglect, trauma and uncertainty. We knew we were taking a chance. I can’t say that her previous circumstances haven’t and don’t affect how she interacts and how she behaves at times, because they certainly do - but we see improvement every day!

One thing we do know is that she knows love now. We know it because when we show her our love via cuddles, kisses, belly rubs, treats, bones, ball-chasing session’s and walks every day - she shows it right back - usually in the form of face licks! - but also by listening, coming when called and just overall being our ‘shadow’ and desiring to be where we are. Because we know that most important thing for her to feel after all that neglect is love and a sense of safety.

And the girl is smart! She sits in the kitchen after dinner, every single day, waiting patiently for her daily chicken foot dessert!

She is our first rescue but certainly not our last. The next time you are looking to add a dog to your family, please consider visiting your local shelter. Some are housing 400+ dogs on any given day that deserve a second chance and a loving home!

2025 ECNL Boys National Playoffs —-> 336 teams across all 6 age groups (U13-U19) all converged in Seattle last week to go head to head.

These boys played 4 games across the week, whittling their way down from 48 teams in their age group (U13) all the way through the round of 16 to eventually punching their ticket to Richmond next week as top 8 for the Nationals Finals!

Proud is an understatement. After achieving an undefeated regular season and fighting their way through playoffs, they have earned this chance to shine!

@crewandres2012 my heart bursts for you. I hope you never forget how it feels to be a part of a team that worked so hard to achieve something so incredible.

Now let’s go kick some butt next week! 💙💛⚽️

I can’t find any words for finally having to close this chapter, except that I’m just - sad. Real, raw deep sadness is all I feel for my Gus not physically being with us in our house anymore.

He was my first real dog I got as a young adult - my copilot, couch companion, fridge beggar, beach buddy, and shadow.

We already miss the white hair you’d leave all over the house, how you’d ‘sing’ with us, how even after losing all your sight and hearing you could still smell the turkey when we’d pull it out of the fridge (always ready for turkey), how your lip would sometimes get stuck on your teeth, and how your favorite thing to do was nap. Honestly, the stories could go on about how much joy you brought our family over the years

18+ years will never be enough with you, buddy 💔🌈🐾

The highs and lows of rescuing a dog can be quite humbling, but there’s no words to describe what you’ve added to our lives. We love you Tilly Green!

Small recap of Texas with Georgia ODP!
I can say it was a great experience and it motivated me to keep grindin hard to become the player I want to be! I was surrounded by awesome coaches who believe in us, great players that inspire me and ballers who have become great friends on and off the pitch!
