What started with SIX ended up being TWENTY-ONE

This past Tuesday night we had six young adults signed up to be baptized after our gathering, but we ended up baptizing twenty-one young adults!! It was truly a move of God 🙌🏼

I’ve been praying for so many of our @gojourneyyoungadults to take this step and go public with their faith! To see so many of them do so blessed my soul in ways I can’t put into words. It was a night filled with joy and celebration. It was also a night where emotion overcame me. I couldn’t stop crying. It was beautiful in the best way.

Our YA’s all stayed after service and cheered like crazy for every single person that God baptized…the stories are crazy! I’m so proud of each of you.

Some of these YA’s came from fatherless homes, others from Jewish homes, and yet all of them have the same story…”I once was dead…but now I’m alive”

Baptism doesn’t save you. The finished work of Jesus on the cross and an empty grave three days later do. Baptism is the public declaration of your faith. It’s meant to be a celebration for believers…cheering on our brothers and sisters…and that’s exactly what Tuesday night was!

THANK YOU JESUS. You get all the glory! 🙌🏼😭

I could not be more thankful for getting to see God move in El Salvador in such incredible ways! Jesus has changed my life so completely and it was beautiful to see that same life change in so many people throughout this mission trip. On this trip we installed water filters and spread the gospel in homes with Filter of Hope thanks to many partners who served alongside our team! So much love to my El Salvador fam!! This trip was such a blessing getting to know and love all of you!
