These four years of medical school have undoubtedly been some of the most difficult years, but I have made lasting memories. There have been tears, sleepless nights but alongside those difficult times there have been some of the most joyous and amazing times too- filled with laughter and camaraderie. I will never forget the friendships I have forged through this journey. I hope to continue to grow as a person and as a physician, and make just as meaningful relationships during my training as an OBGYN in Seattle!
I could not have done it without the support of my family and friends who were there to listen to me vent all the way through.
Lastly as a first Gen Latina physician I want to say to those thinking or wondering if they can - yes you can absolutely do it too!

I matched at the University of Washington in Seattle for my OBGYN residency!! I am so happy to be starting this new journey and gaining a new family. I am so happy to have had the support of my friends and family along the way. It takes a village to get here and I’m so grateful to my village!
