POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Jesse and I want to let our loved ones know that this morning our baby boy Pickles passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. We are incredibly heartbroken, shocked and devastated. We might be MIA for a bit while we grieve and figure out how to navigate life now. We didn’t think we could bear to tell multiple people in passing conversations so wanted to let our people know this way. Please don’t blow up our phones with thoughts and prayers coz we’re not gonna be great at replying. We truly appreciate your love and patience with us and will let you know when we’re ready to try be normal, functioning humans again.

Pickles was our best friend and we know he charmed the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him (if he didn’t try to bite you). I feel so incredibly lucky that he came to my door one day and gave me the honour of loving him and being loved by him. Being his mum is my greatest joy. My phone has always been so full of photos and videos of him because I was/am so in awe of the cool lil guy I was blessed with. Every night I would take photos and videos of him sleeping or us cuddled up and then when Jesse and I moved in together our nights were always filled with me coming to grab him to show him how Pickie was asleep (always in the same position he was every night), but somehow it was always even cuter than the last night. Pickles saved me and changed me in so many ways. I don’t think I could ever do him justice writing how fucking special he is and will forever be. I promise I’ll continue to be a menace, enjoy the sunshine and a fat ass feed for you Pickie. I’ll sing silly songs and do things now, not let them sit on a bucket list forever. I’ll do it all for your buddy. I love you and I can’t wait until we’re cozied up in the sunshine together again
