Dedicating this post to Cactus @therealcactuskid I met Cactus and their crew of friends at a @dogbreathnyc show back in 2022. Just a bunch of latino punks showing up & making noise in the mosh pit. Later I found out their friends were in a band called CHRONIC @bandachronic

Cactus was at the CHRONIC shows supporting their friends with a video camera, documenting everything, capturing little pieces of the scene that would otherwise just disappear into the night.

Seeing Cactus years later up front singing in their band Out of Service @o.o.s_nyhc playing alongside their friends in CHRONIC… that felt like a full-circle moment.

There’s something beautiful about watching people grow through music from being the person behind the camera to being the one on stage.

Snapped photos from @o.o.s_nyhc first show alongside bands @bandachronic and BOIL absolutely crushed it too definitely one of my new favorite hardcore bands. CRIKE @crikehc & Furia played as well and the whole night just felt special a benefit show for Juampys grandma.
