19.06.2026 // REALITY IN::_FLUX

For EP #6 of Heure Fatale, developed in dialogue with MAMCO Genève and HEAD Genève as the finissage of “Quickkopy Conceptualism: Bay Area Dada to Bay Area Punk”, we invited artists to interrupt the invisible choreography of the crowd.

Our fourth, and final, space was the one that carried the night forward: the DJ booth.

What is often considered the hallowed space of the night, the DJ booth became a site where choreography was continuously rewritten. The DJs who occupied it guided the movement of the crowd, allowing rhythms to collide and dissolve, pulling bodies out of their stasis and into new ways of moving. Nothing remained fixed. With each shift in sound, the dancefloor found a different pulse, and the night unfolded in unexpected directions.

As the hours stretched later, movement became instinctive. Faster pulses gave way to slower drifts, familiar textures dissolved into unexpected ones. The night found new directions, and the crowd followed.

The DJ booth became a site of transformation. Not only for sound, but for the bodies that gathered around it.
