A really wonderful exhibition at @the______beach “Life is with People” invited 27 artists to construct a house. The result is a beautiful and provocative installation where each artist contributes to the project as the meaning of home turns and changes as you walk around the work. Go see!

We’re honored to be featured in D Magazine and grateful to Lucia Simek for capturing the vision, energy, and people shaping Dallas’s contemporary art scene.

“Jessamine, the name of Green and Meza’s gallery, pays homage to two things: a ‘90s drone rock band and a poisonous yellow flower. “I think we really identified with the flower,” Meza says, reflecting on the paradox of a benign appearance that packs a powerful blow. “We felt like these kids that no one would take seriously.” The two wanted to show how much more there was—in them and in the city-beneath the surface.”
