5 years later and she still puts up with me ❤️

it’s our bday🥳🥳

when i opened the shop doors 15 years ago, i never imagined one day needing a handful of the cutest and most amazing employees..

but as i was scrolling thru years of pictures to find for this post, i realized that the b. crew has been my favorite part of this crazy ride..

from Angie helping me in the very beginning, to finding perfect lil Nonmala on the U of MN job board, Esther swooping in when we doubled in size, & the following constant phone calls asking if that fine, thick woman was working, Cej’s chair spins & insta posts that had me at home giggling, Dre getting hired on the spot bc of her effortless style, Jorie & her cowboy boots, Crista’s witchy vibes, Elizabeth being good at literally everything, Tenaya just.. swoon, Lucia’s giant heart, Bri loving up on my actual babies & them simply adoring her, Cre breaking the internet every time she posted a pic, Lake’s reels that made y’all lose your minds, Bronwyn out here mending shit in-house, Quima adding so much coolness and color all over the space, Mer forever the b. baby, Anjelica taking her super smart & engaged self back to LA way too soon & Chantz bringing it full circle plus all the other beautiful beings who have given so much time & energy to the shop & to the community🩵

so much life has been shared between these four walls.. heart breaks, growing pains, big job moves, transitions, weddings, deaths, move your ass mondays, the fit checks, b afterhours, graduations, new careers, hard life shit, unrest, political bullshit, pandemics, leaking ceilings, broken furnaces, smashed glass, all the tears, lasting friendships, tasty meals, complete silliness, the belly laughs, and the best hugs.

How blessed am I that all these amazing humans have allowed me to be a part of their lives.. apparently when you hire on vibes, the universe gives you a whole lotta goodness, and for that i give thanks.

thank you to the entire b crew, past & present for being you & thank YOU for supporting this lil local spot for so many years..

in a world as ridiculous as the one we are currently existing in, it is nice to know that we (still) got us🩵 here’s to at least a few more years;)

During lockdown, we started doing a weekly call just to keep each other sane. We kept this going even after things started opening up again, and honestly, I’m not sure I would’ve survived the last few years without these two. 🖤🖤

i had no idea how beautiful arkansas was going to be, we left minneapolis as snow was falling to end up on two lane highways still full of fall colors. driving with the windows down become the theme to this journey. i fell in love with eureka springs and could have spent way more than an afternoon exploring. but we had camp to set up before sundown so it was back to the road and into the ozark national forest. loosing service about an hour out from camp on a single lane winding dirt road in the middle of the mountains was definitely the true start to this adventure. pulling into camp we weren’t sure what to expect, there was a group of hunters on the back of the grounds so we found a spot more toward the front and got set up. it ended up being the most perfect spot. just a short hike from us falling water creek met with richland creek, and both were full and flowing. after the low waters in minnesota all summer this was a beautiful change. the moon was nearing full, and we got a cotton candy sunset. the only sounds were flowing water and distant animals a truly wonderful day. #hannahnotinmontana #ozarknationalforest #twolanehighwaysforever
