Hell of a weekend. Took the boys out of school early on Friday to watch Avengers in IMAX. Saturday, I went to my first @austinfc game and watched a thrilling comeback, we were down 3-0 and came back to tie it at 3-3. Saturday I hosted some friends over for pancakes and playing Fish Bowl. I’ve gotten multiple DM’s from people across the world asking for some running advice, and where I’m no pro, this is how I’ve been able to level up year over year without an injury.

I’m someone who has always said “I’m just not a runner” or “I’m more of a sprinter” but the truth is we are at the top of the food chain for one reason: ENDURANCE. No other species on Earth can outlast a human being. Your ancestors were ultramarathoners, Christ and His Apostles were ultramarathoners. The beauty of endurance is it’s where you truly find your limits, and somehow exceed them. You see the goal posts move in real time.

As I have said time and time again, if you ever need anything you can give me a holler! Hammer down! #fitness #motivation #running #runner #endurance

Find people who find you. Simple as that.

Feeling fruity, highs, lows, weddings, love bombing, seafood boils, ube tiramisu, pickle pizza, blues on the green, and everything in between :)

Just another Tuesday on the block 😊. Let’s have another great week TOGETHER! Please remember that hydration is your responsibility (so, bring a water bottle) as the heat and humidity rise, but the Morning Jo’s and Jo’s Coffee does set up water as a BONUS.

Thanks @statesmancap10k for coming out tomorrow! You’ll want to be here to learn about all the Global Running Day festivities and also, our casual shirts with @thelittlegayshop are in production set for June if you already ordered!

Just a few weeks from Global Running Day 🤭, but in the meantime, our friends at @adidasrunning (c/o @griffin_neal), @fleetfeetaustin, @propelwater, and @eastsidemovementco are BRINGING THE VIBES. You’ll want to show up by 5:50 AM (to promptly start at 6 AM) and demo the Supernova Rise 3 and The Evo SL! EMC will be out there for post-run injury screenings while y’all sip and embrace some Propel 💦

Runners & Walkers Welcome, Safe Running Required! Happy @bostonmarathon!
…
Join us at Jo’s Coffee (SoCo) at 6 AM for our weekly 3-6 miles with pacers for 7-12 minutes + a power walking crew! As a reminder:
- stay on the sidewalks or bike lane (with bikes having the right of way)
- watch and call out for bumps, crosswalks/lights, pedestrians/cyclists/cars, etc.
- don’t interfere with the YETI delivery truck
- and most importantly, look out for each other :)
