BD16 Ozthology Annual Event Featuring the Legend of Oz - Enkaru Variant

Portadón de @enkaru, no conocía esta serie de cómics escritos por @crittersdaddy pero en cuanto vi que una de las opciones del kickstarter en el que se publican era una portada alternativa obra de Enkaru estaba dentro.

What an amazing first time at #sdcc
While the big company exclusives were pretty cool, I focused on all the creators this experience had to offer. From art books by @cheeks_galloway to hand crafted chicken purses by @lecoopbag to an art masterpiece by @iamjonahlobe an exclusive one of a kind garbage pail homage collector card from @madhattertoyreviews & a badass piece by @joelgomezart this convention lived up to the hype! I cannot wait to go through all these glorious treasures I found and really appreciate them for all their worth!

Here's wishing the very happiest of birthdays to the amazing artist @mlsanapo, who I had the pleasure of writing a story for as part of one of my three different writing gigs for BIG DOG INK over a decade ago! (Yes, @crittersdaddy... it's already been that long! How?!?)

An older cover for Wicked West of Oz, for @bdicomics. Lines @carlosreno_studio and colors by this guy (me, Gat)

Til next time, be excellent to each other!

Real talk: After not being at @akron_comicon since 2019, I wasn't sure what to expect upon my return this past weekend. Would people remember me? Would they care? It turns out my fear was misplaced, as this weekend was a true homecoming filled with friends, readers, and peers not only old, but also new. My most heartfelt appreciation and thanks to out to everyone who made this past weekend such a successful and heartwarming. Let's do it again soon, yeah? #akroncomicon #dirkmanning #lifeontheroad #makecomics

Jinjer is in trouble, in this steller cover by @carlosreno_studio and @gat_melvyn_colorist brought to you by the mastermind @crittersdaddy for the series, Wicked West of Oz.

A world-wind ride, bringing all your favourite characters together, in a slick new way.

Grab your side-iron and saddle the horses and ride on over to BDI to secure your copies!

Please, be kind and heart, comment, share and follow for more digi-crayon goodness!

Til next time, be excellent to each other!
