took me 1.5 days and 4 cities to finish @crochet_faeries ‘ suki top!

literally started on jakarta airport while waiting to board, then on dubai for transit, as well as the train ride from rome to florence.

but honestly, the pattern is very easy to follow and memorize that there’s no hassle to keep reopening the pdf to work on the top. i could just watch movies simultaneously or just crochet on the go!

As per usual, Aurora made the most beeeautiful design and I’m so happy I got to test for her again! I went for these earthy, forest green colours but the other testers did a range of colours and are all stunnnning🧚🏽💫

The Butterfly Harness ~ @leahs_island_lotus
It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with butterflies, and Leah’s butterfly harness was the perfect first project for this style of crochet: a super quick work up, and really satisfying🦋

The Cable Mesh Sweater ~ @iam.lanka
This design actually has long sleeves (which I did add on later) buuuut I love it as a vest too! Nadia’s version in the grey is perfect and as always, the pattern is so detailed and easy to follow!🧶

Dionne ~ @crochet_faeries
Clueless inspired Dionne is so pretty and making this stitch just felt riiiight!
I love a closed back full coverage piece and this one came out really lightweight (I need to make another💗🧁).

Lilou ~ @__ruangrehat
Ariel’s version for this top is classic and beautiful (+she made a dress pattern for it too), as they always are🥹. I made my tester version a little cropped and beachy and I feel it gave such a different vibe ~ sooo versatile🦢.

I ended up making this cardigan with short sleeves (the pattern is written for long sleeves though!) and I am sooo happy with the way that the colours turned out 🤎🍨. As always, Jan wrote such a beautiful pattern and the geometric motifs just hit something right in my brain!

JUNO ~ @__ruangrehat
I decided to use 5/6 different colours for this one (I believe was playing high level yarn chicken😂), so it took me a little longer to finish than the other testers, but it was sooo worth it! Form fitted or a little looser, all the versions of this were so flattering and I would love to make another one, maybe in a neutral cream colour?🦢🧜🏽‍♀️

Cleo has a corset back and it CINCHES you in so much, I love the shape it creates + it has this cute detailing on the bottom 🍦🧚🏽

THE LILY LACE TOP ~ @amazingishgrace
I knnnnew I had to make this design the second I saw it, and I was so lucky I got to test! I’ve never made filet crochet before but the chart was so easy to read and it came out so cute🌺

THE STARGIRL PONCHO ~ @lucylane.crochet
This is probably my most worn piece of crochet clothing this summer!! It’s super versatile and the stitch is really pretty, it elevates the look from the more simple (but still lovely) ponchos I have seen before⭐️. Plus, the stitch is really addictive and satisfying to work up!💫

THE LUNA TOP ~ @by.anahid
The straps that continue under the bust are so pretty, and this one is SUCH a quick work up, so perfect for a last minute project ♥️
