After a summer of growth during the Cross-Sector Internship, what advice do our scholars have for the next cohort? • Ask questions often. • Take initiative. • Build relationships. • Say yes to opportunities. “Take advantage of the exploring and relationship building that comes with a cross-sector internship experience.” — Tanisha Thulasidas “Say yes to everything, even if it's not in your job description.” — Ella Gamache These lessons emerged from a summer spent working across communities and sectors, tackling real challenges and learning from inspiring leaders. Thank you to our internship partners at The Crockett Foundation and Orange Bowl Committee, and to all of our internship partners, for shaping these experiences! Join us this Friday at the Cannon Family Charitable Trust Cross-Sector Internship Showcase to hear how this summer's experiences shaped the next generation of leaders. 🔗 Register TODAY using the link in bio. #LutherHodgesScholars #CannonFamilyCharitableTrust #KenanInstitute #KenanFlagler Three individuals stand in an office space beneath a sign displaying the Big Ten logo. Technology will continue to evolve. The world will continue to change. But one thing will always matter: your character. Character isn't built overnight. It's built through the choices you make, the values you live by, and the way you treat others when no one is watching. I'm grateful to partner with the Crockett Foundation to invest in young people and remind them that while technology can shape the future, character determines how they'll lead it. Never stop learning. Never stop growing. And never stop becoming the best version of yourself. That's the kind of investment that lasts a lifetime. #CharacterDevelopment #LeadershipSkills #PersonalGrowth #ValuesMatter #InvestInYouth #FutureLeaders #LifeLessons #ContinuousLearning

🌴💜Building real pathways into tech starts in our own backyard💜🌴.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                It was an absolute honor for @Tribaja X @wrthapp to partner with the @crockettfoundationfl for the 3rd annual Crockett Innovation Expo (CIX)! Celebrating three years of expanding impact, over 650 youth gathered at the NSU Alvin Sherman Library to explore the power of technology—from hackathons and VR to discussions with community leaders on startup careers and future tech pathways. At Tribaja, we believe every student deserves a front-row seat to the tech economy. Huge thanks to the Crockett Foundation team, our community partners, and volunteers for helping us inspire tomorrow’s founders, builders, and tech leaders!   #Tribaja #TechPathways #Startups #STEMLeadership #YouthEmpowerment DigitalEquity CommunityImpac

🦪 Making waves for conservation! We had a fantastic time at New River Middle School with the Crockett Foundation Inc. for our Vertical Oyster Garden Eco Project! Students learned how oysters help keep our waterways healthy before building their own vertical oyster gardens to support local restoration efforts. Thank you to New River Middle School and the Crockett Foundation Inc. and Kilwins for helping make this hands-on environmental experience happen and helping inspire the next generation of environmental stewards! 🌊💚
